Prosecutors won't oppose delaying trump sentencing
Source: Political Wire
Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg said in a court filing he does not oppose Donald Trump’s request to delay his sentencing, instead deferring to Judge Juan Merchan.

16. As I mentioned before if this is delayed
we might see him on Election Night on his plane and heading to a country that has agreed, for a price, not to extradite him. So the sentencing could be in absentia and the weasel escapes punishment. The Georgia case could go forward against the others and a conviction for him would be up in the air unless once again it was done in absentia and a legal beagle might be able to better describe whether that can happen. The judgements etc. will be a hard slog but the bond for the NY AG case will maybe be the only thing paid there after the bond company maybe tries to default and then pays some negotiated amount.
It would, from the crooked sense (the only direction he knows), be a likelihood that he will have borrowed against everything right to the hilt and so there would be little equity. We could expect that he has already set up the foreign banks etc. to automatically receive full transfers from any US accounts at a moments notice.
All signs are pointing to him angling to skip especially given his outright statement of such to Musk. Judge Merchan can short circuit that plan by refusing to extend past the election. If he imposes a sentence before the election including prison time he has the authority to order surrender of all passports pending any appeals. That would make it much more difficult for the Orange Ruski to skip but he still could because there is little doubt that a small craft flight from Florida from some aviation "front" company for Erik Prince etc. would be able to perform the job. Would the SS detail "look the other way" or be "distracted" so he could leave? Good question. If it's his handpicked loyalist SS detail then I think yes. But Joe may have had multiple reasons for assigning some "new" personnel to be by the side of the Orange Ruski.
Wouldn't it be a beautiful thing if he was trying to get on a "smuggler" plane and one of the SS agents Joe assigned to him physically grabbed him back off the plane and called for the US Marshals to come and arrest him for trying to flee? Or maybe this crook is going to go the political asylum route from some country etc. and hitch a ride on one of their diplomatic flights.
It would be interesting whether he would make arrangements for any of his spawn. I don't think he will unless he figures a way he can use them. I think it's not likely he will take Melanie with him.

Bragg knows deep down the whole thing is a sham and will most likely be overturned on appeal.

As with a lot of us I hope Trump wins. That way as soon as it's official he can pardon himself and then stick it to the Dummies and then he can go after all of those people that tried to jail him. If nothing else, he could fire a few so-called lawyers that have proven themselves to be unqualified to hold their jobs in the DOJ.

Bragg probably realizes that sentencing Trump before the election would basically be powerful free advertising for Trump.
