Unless you have a diverse staff, you haven’t hired the best people, period.

Companies that hire people based on skin color instead of ability harm themselves. Most companies understand that and hire for ability - a few don't and pay the price for that foolishness.

I don't pay attention to job ads for government positions, because I know my skin color and reproductive plumbing are foci for discrimination ... and it shows at a general level.

They need to talk to Disney and Budweiser and ask them how well that whole DEI thing is working out for them. The last I heard Budweiser is still losing money over Bud Light.

I don't know about losing $$, but Bud Light slipped from being 2nd place behind a Grupo Modelo label to being 3rd place behind two Grupo Modelo labels. :rotf: A FB friend recently visited Budweis in Czechia, so I'll have to ask him about the flavor of beer produced there.
