Biden as vp. Was it a poor choice?
I am asking that everyone give reasons for how they feel about this. lets just stick to friendly posts and see what everyone thinks. I feel Biden doesnt add anything to the ticket and by picking him Obama opened the door to Palin. We needed someone like Jim Webb or Jack Reed.Biden is the forgotten man and i think the expectations for Palin are so low all she has to do is show up and breathe and she will win the debate, according to the media.

39. Solidly pro-labor. Counters Palin by authoring the Violence Against Women Act.
He can get the liberal Catholic vote easily. His reputation as a big tough talker takes LOADS of heat off of Obama. Foreign policy--best in Washington. Knows the conflicts brewing in south Asia as well, if not better, than anyone.
Debates? He'll kick ass and make Missy Sarah think he's going to marry her for her money...
so, the big tough talker on their ticket is not the presidential guy? its the VP?
thats not really a ringing endorsement there girlie.. :lmao:

Then I presume he will take issue with Obamas declaration of an immediate withdrawl from Iraq and his unconditional meeting with Ahmadinejad.

Wasn't it Biden during the primaries that said Obama didn't have enough experience to be president?

Now this whole DU thread is what I call 'Putting lipstick on a pig' - Biden is a gaffe-a-minute also-ran who brings to Obama everything they hate about Cheney. Until the nomination, the left considered Biden a Bush apologist DINO who should be removed from his seat by force if necessary.
