My brother drove a bus for the RNC in Milwaukee
His company was hired to work the event shuttling delegates from their hotels to the convention center. He generally works shuttling professional teams, high school teams, elderly people on tours, and just about any group that needs large scale transportation. One aspect of his job is receiving tips from the group organizers after each job is completed. Guess how much he made in tips after working the entire week at the RNC?

$0.

Cough cough BS.... If true your brother probably went on some DUmmie rant about democracy or something and boom no tips.

Probably more likely he drove the short yellow bus for the reporters of the MSN and that is why he didn't get any tips.

You are now suppose to tip bus drivers?

Tipping has gotten out of control.

Maybe if he shaved and showered and kept his mouth shut he would have gotten some tips. I don’t know why he’s complaining I’m sure he’s paid well to drive the bus.

I rent cars when doing so. Usually you need to take a shuttle to the rental car center. I always tip the drivers, even if they don’t help with my bag. Most often I’m the only one that tips them. I try to make it obvious, but not in a “look at me” way. I’m trying to hint that others should tip too.

Mr obvious, hey look at me I’m a big time spender, he probably puts the tips on his expense report.

I have a tip for the bus driver, get a better job! Learn to code.

My brother got hired last year to drive a bus for a dem gathering. Do you know how much he got? Well, they stiffed him on his pay and stole the $20 he had in his pocket so I guess you'd say he got -$20. They also bombarded him with made up rethug conversion stories and fairy tales about how great dems are, but how do you put a price on that pain and suffering?

We've heard a bouncy of how awful the republicans are coming from the Milwaukee sex workers and now a bus driver.  There are many more variations on this bouncy template that could be exploited--Food vendors inside the fence with stories of republican sloppy eating habits, janitorial staff inside Fiserv Forum witnessing republicans not washing their hands after taking a piss.  The possibilities are endless.  Get cracking, dummies.

But when the democrat convention comes to Chicago, we over here won't have to craft make-believe stories of democrat depravity--the fires and the violence, it's all going to be on the news.

Oh yea I have a friend that heard the male prostitutes had more work than they could handle during that gathering.

OK kids, obviously this whole story is Barbra Streisand. But to start with, the "group organizers" don't tip you, the patrons or people who ride the courtesy bus do. Whenever I've rode a shuttle or short-term ride I'll toss in a few bucks because of the service.

Perhaps your brother was spouting liberal horse-hockey during the trip and that's why he didn't merit a gratuity. That seems more far more plausible.

If you learn not to piss on your fingers you don’t need to wash your hands. :thatsright:

Trust me, the national MSM will suppress any hint of violence or uprising. Which is why they're cordoning off the anti-Semitics miles away from the United Center.

Perhaps Mrs. O'Leary's cow accidentally causes a catastrophe.

I'm stocked up on Orville Redenbacher, and thank Jesus I don't live in that cesspool of a city any longer. :cheersmate:

If this :bouncy: is not fiction - it probably is, though - Joe Nation's brother should make sure his employer did not steal the RNC's tip.

Made me look, Teddy.

Which brother was it, Ted? Jim? And why do you lie about your location on FB? You don't live in South Dakota:

I read an article on yahoo that interviewed a bunch of people from Milwaukee who said the convention goers were very nice and polite people who didn’t talk politics to the locals.
So Mr. Bus drivers brother, stuff it!!!
