That being the stock market.
It’s booming right now. Once the Fed cuts interest rates, it’s going to skyrocket and continue that way if there is a belief that more rate cuts are on the horizon.
It’s going to be hard for the rapist/felon/fraud to argue he could do a better job with the markets.

Middle income and low earners don't care about the stock market. They care about their mortgage interest rates and the cost of ground beef. You're correct in connecting stock success and overall financial health and an eventual interest drop- but a lot of people just see whats right in front of them- we need a good ole fashioned interest drop ASAP. Since inflation rates have finally taken a significant drop I hope that happens soon and if it does we'll see a new narrative that will benefit President Biden greatly
Partly correct but the DUmbasses are forgetting the reason for the rate hikes was to reduce the money supply which would nudge inflation down. Once rates go down, back up goes inflation. But yeah I'm sure there is a lot of pent-up home buyers in DU land waiting for mortgage rates to drop.

Yes, it’s interesting how the stock market now is all about helping everyone whereas during the Bush years it was only benefiting the wealthy making blood money off of war. And how jobs are all now wonderful when they used to call the same type job creation “McJobs”. They change their perspective of events based upon who is in office more often than they bathe or change their underwear.

DUmmies displaying their gawd-awful understanding of economics and the stock market yet again.
I'll quickly summarize since it is below my paygrade to do such things. The commonly used Dow Industrial Average is ONLY comprised of 30 very large companies. Most are very well known, and it changes periodically when a group of chairmen make adjustments to the list.
The Dow has been rising precipitously this week for likely two reasons: 1) Reading of the tea leaves by MAJOR market executives for every utterance by Fed Chairman Powell on the status of interest rates and desperately wanting at least one before the election. The Dow 30 is already pricing in at least one and possibly multiple interest rates so it guides their future investing. The market won't continue to rise with a 25 basis point cut in September as the investor class already builds it into their modeling.
The second reason is one DUmmies and libs will hate: The markets expect President Trump will return to office after the events of the past few weeks and the assassination attempt raises their hopes.
A couple other quick things. While the Dow Jones Industrial Average has been surging, the broader markets of the NASDAQ and the S&P 500 are taking it in the shorts. They are more tech oriented but especially the S&P actually represent far more value.
S&P 500 total value: Approximately $57 trillion
Dow companies' total value: Approximately $15 trillion
NASDAQ total value: Approximately $35 billion
