Having a hard time handling all this
The judge's ruling was expected, but this and the "let's all tone down the violence that Biden is stoking" near miss of that fat ****ing pos...my not-so-hot home life... I'm terrified he'll be put back in office based on his voters coming out of the woodwork to support him now.
The weeks of harassing Biden. Democratic turncoats. I'm taking more anti anxiety meds daily.

Are you going to vote? If the answer is yes, and you're going to cast that vote no matter what, then you do not need to read the news.
Ever, really. But certainly not daily or hourly. If it's affecting your mental health to the point you find yourself requiring more medication, then it's causing health problems. And it is a health problem no different than drinking, overeating, or being sedentary.
Take a break. For your own health. What will change if you don't consume the news? What in your life will get better or worse? It will not alter your future intentions, so what's being gained?
I took a six week sabbatical from the news/politics at the end of May that I intended to last the summer. I only came back after the debate, because, well, it was singular and interesting. Now the shooting. Then this case. Then the conventions. I'm already thinking, "You know what? I got it. I know what's going on. I don't need to be spending time on this."
And the sabbatical's been great. Learning Tagalog, wearing down a stack of books I've been collecting for three years, watching classic movies I always kept meaning to get around to. (Watched Close Encounters of the Third Kind for the first time the other night).
You do not have to be here. By here I mean the Internet, the news sphere, the endless politics and anxiety they are specifically designed to induce.
Sometimes you have to look around and realize you shouldn't be sitting at the bar.
And God knows, it ain't going anywhere.

OK, IMO, this and similar posts illustrate how ignorant DU-folk are.
The immunity ruling was straight from the USC and common sense. It should have been predictable.
The Chevron ruling that unelected bureaucrats cannot write laws was straight from the USC and common sense. It should have been predictable.
The LIEden was not doing well mentally has been pointed out for over 4 bleeping years! LIEden's poor debate performance, bumbling at public events, and didn't-lick-the-teleprompter "interview" performance should have been predictable.
That someone tried to assassinate Trump was a predictable result of Dems and Progs denouncing Trump as Hitler, a Russian spy, yada, yada, yada.
Judge Cannon's ruling is another straight-from-the-USC ruling, easily foreseeable.
How ignorant must one be to be surprised by any of these?! How ignorant must one be to be "having a hard time handling all this" when "all this" was easily anticipatable?!

I'm no paragon of virtue in nicknaming some DU-folk and some Dem/Prog pols and spokesmouths, but for some reason I have never had trouble with refraining from equating any of the lot of them with Hitler or calling for people to get in their faces or invade their property to harass them. I guess I'm just weird.

I guess that weirdness is inherent in all of our side, we don’t act out like spoiled children. We’re responsible adults and act as such.
