Title: A question about "classic" DUers
Post by: FlippyDoo on July 12, 2024, 04:17:26 PM
Since I’ve been back visiting, I’ve been thinking about the great DUers of time past. Has TominTib been back to the DUmp since his DollarBill (or whatever sock name he used) days? I know that Nads, the classically trained historian/everthing, is still trying to journalism elsewhere on the web. Is the Panther still DUing and still thinking that she’s a male cat?

There is one tidbit that I can reveal since the election is so near. Do you remember the times that Biden appeared to be shaking hands with someone who wasn’t there? Every single time, there has actually been someone there: Blackie the Ghost Chicken. Blackie actually thinks that it’s hilarious. I’m sure some may doubt me, but would a retired fictional spirit-guide lie to you?

Maybe TominTib got eaten by a shark? (obscure Spanish-language pun)

Since we're speaking of former DU-notables, imagine the raving and fuming of TheMasterNematode were he still on DU.

WRT Buggee (aka Baltimike), somebody needs to get her scoping out Trump-Russia Collusion 2.0.

I've been having these feelings that TheMasterNemasys is under the sock puppet The Grand Illuminist.  They both have that nihilistic flair in their posts.

The panther is still posting, but I think she went into rehab for a bit. She's on other sites too, but not for the last 4 weeks or so...

There's a lot of classic primitives now departed for that vast region known as the Dark Underworld.  A few come to mind:

Khepra
NNN0LHI....."Don"
Redstone....."the red-faced stoned primitive"
Systematic Chaos....."the Gigantic primitive"
Tangerine LaBamba
Wiley50.....the ark-building "the wily primitive"
William Pitt....."the Bostonian Drunkard"

And there's some who remain in doubt:

Omaha Steve (vowed to be dead by May 15, 2017)....."the big guy from Bellevue"
MrScorpio....."MrsCorpio"
ThomWV

Hey coach. I did not know so many had passed and finally learned the truth. I especially didn't know about Pitt. I suppose he passed without ever getting the revenge that he promised his red buddy.

I still say that if an evil scientist could have found a way to combine the DNA of TominTib and Nads in their primes he could possible create the world's greatest super DUmmie.

Those fabled ninja lawyers never arrived before the demise of Wee William Pitt.

If hatred for people who dare differ from him/her doesn't drip from computer displays when his/her posts are displayed, it probably isn't Nematode.

This thread reminds me of a famous joke: "How many dead DUmmies does it take to screw in a light bulb?"

Answer: "I don't know. Let's start with all of them and narrow it down from there."

I am pretty sure Bob Banzin, whose foot precedes him in death, is still alive and scowling in Colorado. He has to be circling the drain at this point, although I suspect the Democrats can be even more sure of his vote after he passes.

Out of morbid curiosity I've search a little for HollisinSonoma. I started with Don Shipley, thinking that he could help me locate the second-most decorated Navy Seal in history, so imagine the look on my face when Don informed me that Hollis Wright was never a Seal.

Then I called around to various record labels, because surely they'd know where to find him, since they have to send those royalty checks SOMEWHERE. "Oh, that lying asshole?" Came the reply.

So I figured, heck Tom claims to have bedded every woman in the Bay Area with enough money to drive all the Italian sports cars he reviewed, all the rare wines he's sampled, and so forth, but none ever materialized. "Tell TominTib to try TominTub once in a while, and he might have a chance," said the only woman I could find who would admit to knowing him.

On a more serious note, I think Hollis Thomas Wright, definitely NOT a Navy Seal and absolutely an inconsequential drunken asshole, moved back to Texas at some point to sponge off relatives, probably NOT his son, who is probably rationing his own scratch earned while touring with Santana.

Bob Banzin does seem to be yet around, age 80, and still more or less active in politics (from this side of the grave). Evidently his anger, bitterness, hatred, and Clara have not killed him.

lol. Well, the move to Texas sounds right since, if I remember correctly, one of his claims/lies was that his family was the first to settle Texas.

DainBramaged, "Walrus Face," seemed to disappear from the face of the earth about the time those floods ravaged northern New Jersey.  I forget when that was, though--sometime during the Obama administration.

DB is still alive and living in Morris County, NJ AFAIK. I thought dummy "ThomWV" died years ago, and I've seen OmahaSteve's fundraising posts just last week. As for the Dork, he's just posted this:

My skepticism is fueled by the fact...
That with Trump, you can never take appearances for granted. He is entire political existence has been built upon distorted reality and perceived martyrdom.

I do expect him to do everything to monetize and politically exploit this incident.

From every perspective, none of this was good for anyone.

Yeah, I went out on a brittle limb, suggesting MrsCorpio had died.

Mine too. But I suspect there's a lot who don't get mentioned, as if they're afraid of being former primitives.

Omaha Steve is alive and kicking as of a few months ago. He was seen by me at an event we both were at. He seemed to be in good health and capable of getting around just fine. Now I don't know if he is posting anywhere but he might have found a new place to perch.

That makes me a sad panda.
