And it is not what anybody expected. Instead of Red and Blue, its anti-American college-educated terrorists vs. the remaining sane people.

Since nobody talks about it, the odds are most likely the highest for 'illegals of military-age' to start something akin to a war. 

We nip THAT in the bud by launching air-strikes against the cartels.  Station warships in the Gulf.  No time-limit.  Make it all about the Mexican Government.  Think of it as the continuation of the Siege Of Veracruz in 1914.

We need to round those people up and send them to Putin for some fresh slave labor in the Siberian gulags

In my opinion, there are a lot of indicators that human civilization is on the cusp of collapse. Civil wars are everywhere and lots of other nations taking advantage of the situation. It will only get worse before it gets better.
