Legal help for a friend
A friend of mine is going through hell with her ex-husband and his demands and requests for court appearances and other stuff. She is at that point where she makes too much for free legal representation but not enough to pay a divorce lawyer's crazy fees.

Are there any groups or organizations that can help in a situation like this?

They can often find an attorney who would be willing to act pro bono.

Or in Fani Willis' case, pro boner.

I guess grumpyduck's friend is legally blind and never learned to read braille, because that type of law firm is at least as common as the ambulance chaser variety. Hell, you can't take 5 steps outside your own home without tripping over a damned family court judge that came up in that environment.
