I hope the Palin 'child abuse' thing has legs.
If there's just ONE THING that any mom would recoil in horror from, it is associating with another mom who has been admonished by a judge for engaging in child abuse.
Think about it. How many of you know of a family where CPS has been called? Did you secretly think to yourself or confide to your friend that you just knew something was going on in that house and you're relieved that CPS has become involved?
I spent many, many years as a mandatory reporter. Even after I wasn't a mandatory reporter, there are things you see that you just know ARE WRONG.
I just really hope this thing has legs. I don't care as much about the affair, but boy if this thing is true, it could blow the entire campaign to shit.
(Even more so than the Track and drug story, and the Bristol pregnancy story. Those won't have an impact in much the same way as a person who is on the jury judging a drunk driver is less likely to convict if they've ever done it themselves)

I think some other DUer posted that they worked for CPS and they knew stuff but they were too afraid to go public.
As to midlodemocrat .. is he/she really say "ooh I hope those kids are being abused, so my guy can win the election" :puke:

Court documents show that Judge Suddock was disturbed by the alleged attacks by Palin and her family members on Wooten's behavior and character. "Disparaging will not be tolerated—it is a form of child abuse," the judge told a settlement hearing in October 2005, according to typed notes of the proceedings. The judge added: "Relatives cannot disparage either. If occurs the parent needs to set boundaries for their relatives."....
"It is the mother's responsibility to set boundaries for her relatives and insure they respect them, and the disparagement by either parent, or their surrogates is emotional child abuse," Judge Suddock wrote.

Palin has a teenage daughter that is pregnant. The daughter is getting married and delivering the baby instead of getting an abortion and attending Syracus State and majoring in Wymins Studies.

Oh please...if this DU'er knew something it'd be all over the news and they'd be hailed as a brave hero of democracy. Anyone looking at Sarah Palin's kids can see they're well loved and well cared for. Abused children are hesitant and timid...Piper doesn't have a timid bone in her adorable little body.

Asswipes call CPS on people all the time on people who they want to torture or get out of the daycare spot they want for their urchin. Unless there was a criminal conviction in REAL court I wouldn't trust those liberal shitheads about anything, and most places those records are supposed to be kept strictly confidential anyway. Some Obamite file monkey in Alaska could be playing with job loss and jail time on this one.

I know in Massachusetts we have CORI checks which contain criminal background information, including things one may have been acquitted of. I would think there is a similar procedure in place nationwide. I can also say the federal background checks I was put through just to deliver the mail were more than complete. If there was anything like this in Sarah's records, I'm sure it would have come out and disqualified her from the beginning. Nice try though DUmmy.

No kidding! When my son went through his security clearance check I think they talked to practically everyone he knew in his life. I was half expecting them to ask to interview my womb.

I'd say if a so-called "responsible" adult tasers a 10-year old child, that so-called adult deserves all the abuse, scorn, and disparaging comments he gets.
