One Example Of Why The Narrative Is So Important
Trump and his Magat friends are excellent in framing the narrative and getting (with not much effort) the MSM to follow along.
The narrative should not be a discussion about whether a gag order violates Trump's 1st Amendment rights, that narrative is totally wrong.
The narrative should be whether a gag order is an improper condition of his bail. Trump was indicted, in the federal cases he could have been remanded to jail until the trial, but he wasn't. The judge is allowed to set the conditions for bail in lieu of prison and it is proper, it is reasonable, it is the practice for a judge to demand that the defendant not speak about the trial, not make threats to witnesses, not to threaten the judge, his clerk, jurors or potential jurors.
A gag order to Trump is a condition for his release from being jailed, it is a condition imposed upon an indicted man and has nothing to do with the 1st Amendment.
