Use The Word Dictator
I heard the suggestion and totally agree with it, words matter.

Many people do not understand the word authoritarian. When we say Trump wants to be an authoritarian leader, people don't get it.

People understand the word dictator:

Hitler
Pol Pot
Stalin
Idi Amin
Pinocet
Franco
Saddam Hussein
Trump has been channeling Hitler in his speeches, he is telling us who he is.

Conservatives want a small, limited gov't. Leftists want a large, expansive gov't. There's nothing more authoritarian and totalitarian than a large, expansive gov't.
