Can we all agree that they are a "Cult"?
Almost all of TrCan we all agree that they are a "Cult"?
Almost all of Trump's supporters are members of a cult of personality. They admit that there is nothing he could do, not even murder, that would prevent them from supporting him. There should be little doubt but that they are a "cult" and we should not hesitate to call them by their true name.
Except, of course, except for the very few that support him because they are accomplices to his crimes and are just as guilty as he. They include his lawyers and members of the Republican caucus. They know better but choose to support him for their own criminal reasons.
I think it would be beneficial for conversation to refer to them as the "cult" they are. They may not like it, but so what.
