To be fair, this is red meat (I guess it's actually non-GMO vegan red meat substance) for liberal assholes: they are on shaky footing with every premise about the world they've ever held dear, so they were dying for something they can understand. A person with pale skin shooting a bunch of people is exactly the masturbatory content they needed. Ignore for the moment that, cumulatively, in black neighborhoods of blue cities there are well over 20 total shootings every single day, of course.
This is their chance to drag out their old saw that "Reagan ended mental health care in the US," which is (a) bullshit, and (b) leaves out that Clinton, 0bama, and now Shitty Joe haven't lifted their scepters to advance mental health in the US since then. In fact, with just one of Sleepy McShitpants' neverending checks to Ukraine, we could tend to mentally ill folks who desire treatment for years. What did the liberals say for years? "We have plenty of money for WAR! Why don't we have money for anything else?"

Not wrong, but it's interesting how quickly the few who match the moonbat dream profile disappear from the news cycle very quickly. Vegas shooter was a white dude, the guy with the van covered in Trump stickers who mailed fake bombs also, and those just happen and then are forgotten about except for their inclusion in statistics. Mayhaps your point about how many democrats have failed to undo Reagan's horrible actions comes into play.

Mental health history
Card recently reported experiencing mental health issues, including hearing voices, and threatened to shoot up a military base in Saco, the law enforcement bulletin said. He was also reported to have been committed to a mental health facility for two weeks over this past summer, according to the bulletin.
In mid-July, leaders of the U.S. Army Reserve's 3rd battalion told garrison staff that Card was "behaving erratically," a spokesperson for the New York Army National Guard said in a statement to CBS News on Thursday. The battalion was staying at the Camp Smith training site in Cortlandt, while training at the U.S. Military Academy.
"Out of concern for his safety, the unit requested that law enforcement be contacted," the spokesperson said in the statement. "New York State Police responded and transported Card to Keller Army Community Hospital at the United States Military Academy for medical evaluation."
