Saw the CEO of GM a few days ago on tv.

She was almost in tears about how broke the company is. We need every dime to invest in new technologies and can’t afford raises for the workers.
My first thought was, how about you returning $20 million of that $28 million you got last year and wouldn’t that $500million you spent on stock buy backs last year been better spent on new technologies?
Cry me a river.

Leftists should not be allowed to talk about business or economics, but if they didn't we wouldn't have so many countless examples of how damn stupid they are.

With their known track record of abusing geese that lay golden eggs, Dim'Rats - and ESPECIALLY DUm'Rats - should never be allowed near any animal of any kind. I even have serious reservations about letting them fill roles as crazy cat ladies; too stupid to even know how to care for them properly...

Watch the bunnies, DUm'Rats...

Dear DUmmies:

1. Contrary to Biden's lie, GM's profit margin in 2023 is around 5.8%, far from a record, even for just 2010-2022, https://www.macrotrends.net/stocks/charts/GM/general-motors/profit-margins . 5.8% profit is mediocre.

2. As big a symbol as the salary of GM's CEO is to DU-folk it's like a drop of water in Lake Michigan compared to the many billions of $$ GM would need to invest to switch from gas-powered cars to EVs.

3. By way of contrast, GM has some 92,000 employees in the US. Even if one ASSumes for the sake of discussion that half of those are cubicle-sitters, increasing union workers' wages by 40% for working 20% less (the demanded 32-hour work week) and GM having to hire more workers to compensate for that 20% loss in productivity would be quite a bite out of $$ GM could use to tool up for EV mass production.

Let GM go bankrupt again, this time no bailout.

I've been giving the Bud Lite treatment to GM ever since Mike Robinson's Li'l Bitch "bailed out" GM and thus permanently converted the damned souls there to the monikers of "GUB'MINT MOTORS" in my mind forever more. I would encourage the rest of y'all to do the same, but y'all do what best suits you.
