So basically we're paying for other people's **** ups even though and if, like me, we don't have a mortgage?
What if I just decide not to pay federal income tax?

1. My GOP friends don't want to pay taxes because they don't have kids or use "any" government services. But I don't have a mortgage. Why should I have to pay any of this?
I'll make a deal with Pedro Picasso; I'll relieve him of paying any part of this mess, if he'll relieve me of my taxes supporting the Planned Parenthoodlums, the U.S. Department of Education, the subway cat's welfare checks, federal support of the "arts," National Public Radio, &c., &c., &c.

2. You're getting close
but if you're not native american, not paying income taxes is dangerous.

3. What if we ALL stopped paying our Federal taxes?

10. It would pretty much be like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
We'd only be risking the services all of us do need and use. Well, those that are left after being gutted by the GOP.

Essential services my ass.
68+% of our taxes (federal) go to social services and another 8+% to debt service (brought about by excessive social services) I am willing to cut down my tax input by 76+%.

Now wait a minute.
From many screeds past the primitives make it very clear that they consider housing, along with health care,to be a RIGHT and should be provided just because one exists.
Of course that is when it is an imaginary rich person footing the bill for theirs.
How quickly they lose socialism when they are not the beneficiaries.

He 's got a job... a paid for house...complains about having to pay taxes........... he's about that ll far from being a republican. :rotf:

He's got a job, stuffing envelopes for mass-mailing by political groups.
This, the past two or three months.
Before then, Pedro Picasso was an "artist," an "aesthete" "too sensitive" for the working world.
While his wife was bringing home the bacon, Pedro Picasso was once in a while bringing home a 99-cent package of pork rinds, from his studio.
And as for the "paid-up house," remember that Pedro Picasso married money.
Which makes his criticism of his elderly "fundie" in-laws all the more galling.
Talk about being a rectal aperture, being ungrateful like that.

If I am elected Chimpereor McHalliburtonHitler, I assure you that all loyal liberals will pay three times what those that opposed raising taxes and redistributing wealth will.

I don't know why he's complaining, I'm betting Mrs. Pedro controls the pocketbook.

She probably does.
I remember a bonfire Pedro Picasso had started just before Christmas 2006, in which he was gloating about getting, and playing with, some sort of new electronic toy that was in hot demand at the time.
What struck me first about the bonfire was that Pedro Picasso, being a Democrat, liberal, and primitive, is supposed to be superior to we lesser mortals; non-materialistic and all that, and here he was.....
What struck me second was that his wife had given it to him.
