interesting demographics at the link. it's ironic that he is getting steamrolled, but there is a difference. she has
substance and accomplishments behind her.
I'll bet hillary is a happy lady right now.
The Note: The Big Shift
Obama Takes on Obama-like Phenomenon, But Seeks New Focus for Race
He's danced over caucuses and superdelegates, skated past two dozen debates and 19 months on the trail, rolled through Jeremiah Wright and Hillary Clinton -- and a hockey mom from Alaska could be his undoing?
Eight weeks out -- his lead in the polls erased (for now), the money not quite flowing the way he anticipated, women voters impressed by the newest newcomer -- the weight of the race falls on Sen. Barack Obama's shoulders.
(And your real-world alert: President Bush announces Tuesday morning that he's pulling out 8,000 US troops out of Iraq by February.)
Yes, this period of the race has been all about Gov. Sarah Palin -- but how long it lasts is going to be up to Obama. Smart political types are looking for a sharper message -- one that reminds voters of the big stakes in the race, not the little items on a running mate's resume.
(Who usually wins when a presidential candidate takes on a vice-presidential one? How does Obama take on an Obama-like phenomenon? What does it say about Obama's support that it was soft enough to flee this quickly? What, in the end, do women want?)

Bias? No, no bias.

It is interesting that the Dem tickets headliner is getting spanked by the Rep tickets second stringer.

I am surprised that he is playing into her hands. he crucified hillary in the primaries with her vote on the
war, over and over and over. he only had one song that he sang, and that was it. but he doesn't seem to
be able to get his head around this. he almost seems surprised that a mere mortal has the audacity to claim
his title to change/reform.
he doesn't look or act like a guy that understands what just happened.

He should have listened to Harriet! Palin actually has done something.

I'm no great McCain fan but this guy knows his politics. And more significant has allowed the GOP a means of swinging itself back right. There is no guarantee but further left was not the answer.

If the guys running the campaigns could figure that out, they could sure as Hell find more rewarding things to do than mess around with politics.

Obama sees the presidency sliding through his fingers...he was so close. so close. Grrrrrrrrrrrr..he must regroup and find out what went wrong... :banghead: Keep banging your head into the wall, Obama, it will come to you... :rotf:

You know the difference between David who slew Goliath and Palin who is whoopin' on Obama?
