Nebraska Guv Signs Order Outlining Definitions of 'Male' and 'Female'
Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen signed an executive order Wednesday night that would narrow the definition of “male” and “female” under state law to only include biological sex—while nodding to the fact that the passage of a bill addressing “participation of biological males in female athletics” in the state legislature is imminent. Critics, including state Democratic Sen. Megan Hunt of Omaha, have said that the governor’s measure would imperil federal anti-discrimination funding that would protect marginalized groups, including the trans community. “I know Governor Pillen probably hates that fact that trans people would ever be protected or safe, but that’s how it works today and he’s putting Nebraskans in danger by continuing to make this group the entire focus of his ignorant and discriminatory agenda,” Hunt told the Omaha World-Herald. Nebraska is now the second state to enact such a measure, after Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt signed a similar order earlier this month.

3. I don't understand why anybody cares
what another person's sex, gender, sexual preferences--all of that stuff, including what they look like with their clothes off--are unless they're planning to date them. This includes whether the other person is effeminate, "butch," or what clothes they wear or how they cut their hair. Why on earth would it make any difference to anybody else unless you want to have sex with that person? And in that case, I hope you'd know them well enough by the time you're ready for sex to have some idea of what to expect--or maybe not? I don't care. Why can't we just leave everybody alone and mind our own goddam business?
I like that reply. I agree with that reply whole heartedly. Let’s start in the schools, shall we?

Good for the NE and OK Govs.
It’s crazy that this type of legislation even needs to be introduced. The terms male and female define themselves. That some mentally deranged male want to be called a female is not my problem and shouldn’t even be a consideration as to what I would call it if I choose to call it anything at all.

I'm waiting for them to get into definitions and how the politicians don't know what they're talking and therefore should not be making the laws.
That's the same argument we have for gun bans/legislation that they constantly pooh poo.

Pretty sure the Governor of Nebraska is not a Biologist. :-)

There is a very simple definition of male versus female. If you're born with a penis, you're a male. If not, you're a woman.
If you "transition" and prefer to be called a female, I don't have to indulge in your mental delusion by calling you by the proper pronoun.
So simple even a liberal could understand.
