<snip>
US Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may be struggling to nudge ahead of his Republican rival in polls at home, but people across the world want him in the White House, a BBC poll said.
All 22 countries covered in the poll would prefer to see Senator Obama elected US president ahead of Republican John McCain.
In 17 of the 22 nations, people expect relations between the US and the rest of the world to improve if Senator Obama wins.
Well there's a shocker. :sarcasm: Duh.

2. If only the U.S. Voter was as Politically Educated as rest of the world
I think this is just a temporary bounce from the messiah's campaign swing through Germany. We may not be able to make up that 82 point gap in Kenya (after all, Obama is a favorite son), but we're only down by 9 in India, and you know how many electoral votes they have!
2004 repeats. Wasn't it September of 2004 when the press was pushing how Kerry was the choice of those mental giants in Europe? Wasn't it Septmber 2004 when the Little Goons wanted to know why Europeans don't get a say in our presidential elections?
"One-half a vote for every European! They have a stake in this too!"
Maybe there is just something about most decent Americans that just make us thumb our nose at the rest of the world. They wanted Kerry, we gave them Bush. They want Obama, we'll give them Palin, er, I mean McCain. We don't like being told what to do by the Europeans, that's what that whole silly war was about, in the 1700's....

I know the 57 states of the OIC sure are looking forward to it.
