Where I come from, everybody gets their picture taken, everybody gets fingerprinted, everybody gets locked in a holding cell, everybody gets demeaned by the jailers. That is part of the “scene“- all of us would face such dehumanizing actions in order to cause us to begin to realize how powerful the system is and how insignificant we are as individuals. That’s the point of the threat of incarceration for crimes. I don’t care what the commentators say, when you are arrested there’s actually presumption of guilt and the question is, can you prove that you’re innocent of the charge? The burden is then on you as the defendant, I don’t care what the law says, I don’t care what Ari Melber says over and over and over again, I don’t care what the constitution says. We watched him do these things, we spent over four years listening to his hate speech, and his vituperative begging of his minions to rise up against liberals, the media, migrants, and anyone who doesn’t fit the description of loyal Trump follower.
The point of the arrest and jailing exercise is to demonstrate to people, but especially the arrested individual , that he or she is just a shell who is going to be treated in a demeaning and dismissive manner. By waiving any of these actions, in this case, the mug shot, it confers special treatment and special consideration upon this miscreant which he most certainly does not merit.
Do you disagree with me? The murderous son of a bitch who killed those people at the synagogue was just sentenced to death, rightfully so. Was there a presumption of innocence there, following his apprehension? Give me a ****ing break. This guy who used to inhabit the White House is as guilty of his own crimes as the synagogue killer was of his. Yes… If I were on the jury, I would be able, and have been able in my life, to truly objectively deal with the situation because in that particular case, that was my assigned role to which I swore I would uphold the requirements of. But I’m not on the jury here as 330 million other Americans are not on the jury , as I don’t need anybody to tell me that there’s some presumption of innocence here - we know what he did, and I hope and pray to God that he pays for it.
He has brought out in America the latent hate, bigotry, and ignorance which had been reasonably successfully repressed in the national sphere for decades. Worse perhaps, he confirms permission to lie about anything at all whatsoever no matter how outrageous. I say we give him a fair trial and then lock him up for the duration. He has destroyed countless lives and needs to pay for that. Don’t ever forget that they let Hitler out of jail early from his prison sentence, and we all know what happened after that grievous mistake.

I thought the point of arresting and jailing was to keep criminals away from society so they don't commit more crimes, not to dehumanize them. :mental:

I think being unemployed has made him crazier than before. And he fits right in with the band of raging lunatics over there :thatsright:

I wonder if PCI feels the same way about Paul Pelosi's multiple shenanigans?
I don't think most of what we have been able to see would have been seen if not for Jessie Watters.

I don’t care what the constitution says.
This is really all you need to know about this person and that website.

So DUmmie PCIntern thinks fingerprinting and mugshots are extra-judicial punishment to embarrass the one being thus treated? I'm so old I remember when the fingerprints and pictures were for identification. And how many people in this world are more recognizable than Donald Trump.
In the real world Trump's fingerprints have been on file for years or decades, and there are something like 50 billion pictures of Trump in circulation and on file. Law enforcement officers have more important things to do than help Trump-Haters :jerkit: .

You’re right, except that they want their 15 minutes of fame in front of the cameras to show their hatred of Trump :thatsright:

Apparently the Georgia grandstanding will include fingerprinting and mugshotting, https://hotair.com/karen-townsend/2023/08/03/fulton-county-sheriff-trump-will-be-fingerprinted-and-a-mug-shot-taken-if-hes-indicted-n568855 . Maybe they're afraid of a Groucho glasses & mustache disguise? I guess the local Sheriff doesn't have real crime and criminals to deal with. Whatever.
