I remember air travel when I was a kid as an extremely pleasurable experience. On one air trip I travelled to the 1964 New York World's Fair where I was dazzled by images of a golden future. It got me to thinking that if air travel was already so fantastic then how incredible would it be in the future?

Likely a transgendered golden boy with a tiny aching seed shoved ever so gently up their backside. This may be how youthful minds are transformed into the sickness we have seen.

My first flight was Sacramento to LA and San Diego on Pacific Southwest Airline in 1969. Beyond the novelty and being with high school bandmates, it was a mooooooving experience.

That video reminds me of watching vintage footage of America's formerly magnificent railroads. What happened to them? :thatsright:
I have only the vaguest memories of flying when I was a kid. I remember my brother got a USAir deck of cards on one flight. I'm not sure where it is now. Also, I really liked Southwest's old livery. It reminded me of an A&W root beer can.

The good old days when planes were clean,the seats were bigger and you were treated like a valued customer. Now I would rather drive. :argh:
Now a days it seems like the whole process is designed just to piss you off . :thatsright:
