Since when is

God on a schedule Monday through Friday I’ve been trying to contact a preacher locally. I get voicemail box full. And I get someone will call you eventually.

Sorry I’m trying to reach to God

High or drunk? My money is on drunk.

That’s not how you reach God. He’s available 24/7/365. You don’t use a phone, you use your knees.

1. Maybe you forgot to pay at the tollbooth...

I mean collection plate.

Cute - but stupid - stereotype. In the real world, the churches I've attended in the past 34 years or so specifically, from the platform, ask visitors and new people not to contribute to the church until they are confident contributions are used properly. Additionally, the senior pastors of these churches, per their instruction, do not know who contributes how much or whether they do so at all.

3. Nor in any white evilvangellical church

Ever been in one? I will admit, though, that finding an entirely white Evangelical church might not be easy in some parts. In the areas I've lived in, the last all-white Evangelical church I attended might have been the one I grew up in, which had changed from German language services to English language some 20 years before I was born. And within 10 years of my graduating from high school they had an elder who was Hispanic. As for the churches I've attended the past 34 years, all have had or currently have non-whites among the pastoral staff (Are Iranians and Assyrians considered non-white? Progs' racial shibboleths confuse me). The senior pastor at my current church is Korean, having come to the US when he was a child.

4. Umm

ret, pad, and Jerry.

My name is Koz, I have a challenged 35 y/o daughter that I just fed, changed her briefs , and sat down and made a post. And I read this.

This context doesn't give the context that would make the point of the OP intelligible. Is kozar surprised that churches' phones aren't manned 24x7? And that pastors and staff don't give out their home/cell phone numbers so rando twits and haters could harass and threaten them?

5. God bless you for your care and dedication to your daughter.

Quoted for completeness and as an example of a DU-member who, in this thread at least, isn't focused on Christian-bashing.

6. Might check your local sex offender registry and start knocking on doors

(just kidding)

(well not really)

Cute - but stupid - stereotype. In the real world, the churches I've attended in the past 34 years or so require staff and volunteers (especially those who will be around children and youth) to have background checks done. Further, adult leaders who work with children and youth - staff or volunteer - are required to have at least one other adult with them when around children and youth. Among Evangelical churches here in Silicon Valley that is typical, if not universal.

I understand they are trying to be funny but their humor demonstrates their complete lack of understanding of the Creator. Sad when you think about it.

A priest isn’t available at all hours, every day, for the same reason that a doctor doesn’t cure people for free: Neither of them is God.

Certainly won't find Him at the DUmp...

No way this is a good-faith attempt to contact a local preacher, it's just a naff Christian bashing thread. Take out 'preacher', put in 'imam' and see how long the thread lasts then.
