anybody know anything about the recycled glass they used on i95?

my understanding that they are made from recycled glass, are light, strong blocks, and that’s about it. and that this is the 2nd time it’s been used.
do these blocks hold up over time? could they be used in other ways, like embankments?
any other interesting uses for old glass happening out there that we arent aware of?
