White Powder, Presumed to Be Cocaine, Found in West Wing

A white powder was found in the White House's West Wing on Sunday, prompting an emergency hazardous material call to the Washington, D.C., fire department, a U.S. Secret Service (USSS) source told Newsmax.
The substance is now in a lab for further analysis, but it is believed to be cocaine, a source told White House correspondent James Rosen.
Reports had indicated the substance was believed to be cocaine hydrochloride, a hazardous material that is often used as a local anesthetic.
When reached for an official comment, the USSS declined.
"The Secret Service does not comment on an on-going investigation," an email to Newsmax read.

I believe that you will find that nullifies the federal gun charge plea deal if found to be true.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House was briefly evacuated Sunday evening while President Joe Biden was at Camp David after the Secret Service discovered suspicious powder in a common area of the West Wing, and a preliminary test showed the substance was cocaine, two law enforcement officials said Tuesday.
Secret Service agents were doing routine rounds on Sunday when they found the white powder in an area accessible to tour groups, not in any particular West Wing office, the officials said. The officials were not authorized to discuss an ongoing investigation and spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
The complex was evacuated at about 8:45 p.m. Sunday as fire and emergency crews were brought in to do a rapid test, which preliminarily identified cocaine. The White House was soon reopened and the powder was sent for further testing.
Biden and his family left for Camp David on Friday and returned to the White House on Tuesday.

The real hazard in the White House is weapons-grade stupidity.

Only time will tell if they'll be able to pin it on him but Hunter is the obvious suspect. After all the leftist prosecutors and DOJ people stuck their necks out by giving him the slap-on-the-wrist deal where all he had to do was keep his nose clean for a year or two, it would sure be something if this would shit can his sweetheart deal and put him back in hot water.
Echoes of his Navy "service" where a bunch of people bent over backwards giving him waivers for his age and past drug use to get him a commission only to have him chuck it all away by failing his urinalysis on his very first day in and getting himself discharged.
It's time to cut him loose and end this cycle of self destructive behavior and just let him hit rock bottom and sort things out from there, but that might hurt Joe's political career so you know it's never going to happen.

One of the crazier stories to show up this week (and the competition was fierce) involved a bag of cocaine being found at the White House. For one thing, the story kept changing on a daily basis. It was initially reported that the drugs were found “near” the White House. Later, the WaPo reported that it was found in the White House library, which would have placed it inside the executive mansion. But as the nation celebrated America’s birthday, the tale changed yet again. The Secret Service contradicted the library story, saying that the baggie of coke was not in the library. It was found “in a work area in the West Wing.” The location was described as being “in a storage facility in a cubby routinely used by White House staff and guests to store cellphones.” This would be a very interesting development indeed, particularly since it would limit the possible list of suspects significantly, making a potential investigation easier. 1. Tourists seldom or never go to the West Wing.
2. Staff guests would probably go through security.
3. Staff or WH residents are the most likely suspects to have brought in the cocaine, and if staff go through security to enter ...
So, yeah, bring on the security cameras, and fingerprint the bag (if the morons who found and handled it didn't screw up any latent fingerprints). Will silence tell the tale?
