Greg Abbott (R-Texas) with the hideous press release and tweet.
In the wake of the mass shooting in Texas where five people were killed, Greg Abbott actually tweeted out the following (no link because I'm avoiding Twitter):

I’ve announced a $50K reward for info on the criminal who killed 5 illegal immigrants Friday.

And in case anyone was wondering if this was a momentary slip, the same despicable language was used in the official press release:

Governor Greg Abbott today announced a $50,000 reward for a Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) top 10 fugitive who is in the country illegally and killed five illegal immigrants in a shooting Friday night in Cleveland, Texas.


How depraved is this? Even as victims of a mass murder, he can't help but denigrate them for their immigration status.

I'm appalled too. He should've called them illegal aliens, not illegal immigrants.

So, a criminal who has been deported and reentered multiple times murdered 5 people who are not here legally.

Gov. Abbott accurate described the murder and offered a $50K.

And what are DU-folk POed by? Abbott tell the truth and offering $50K for the capture of the criminal. Unsurprisingly. The murdered people don't matter to DU-folk. Unsurprisingly.

Did the alleged perp enter the country "illegally" by breaking the law of the land? Why yes he did. Therefore there was nothing inherently wrong about what Governor Abbott said.

Words are not violence simply because you don't like them, leftists.
