I was slow to this. But I'm done with Fox. There are some good people over there still. (Gutfeld, Watters, Faulkner, etc.) but the ownership is arrogant, stupid, or out of touch. Maybe all of the above.

Yeah. Me too. I'll try to keep-tabs-on Watters and Gutfeld.
I've switched-over to Newsmax pretty seamlessly, a little wiser to the warning-signs of corporate shenanigans.

I know 90% is propaganda bullshit, but if you know how to filter the little nuggets out, the various pieces and parts come together to form the complete picture that all of them were trying to distract you from.

Ditto. Once in a great while, I'll even meander over to HuffPo and laugh at the idiocy there. Same with the Daily Kos. I'd rather read that tripe than watch Wolf Blitzer or Jake Tapper at CNN. Fox News is only marginally more tolerable than CNN, though I might watch a bit of Gutfeld if I stumble on it on YouTube.
But I find the 1440 Daily Digest mostly credible - you don't get the commentary and the claptrap. All you get is the news.

Same here. My Fox News viewing isn't going to change, as I've never been a slave to the network. There are certain on-air opinion folks that I trust and this Tucker kerfuffle isn't their fault. The fault lies with the Fox News management and higher up production staff.
I wouldn't always watch or listen to Tucker, but he was usually excellent. I'm still recording Gutfeld every night. Since I'm not home but can listen to the simulcast on SiriusXM, I will catch some of the shows on the Fox Business Network. I know it is not available everywhere, but I've been able to identify which shows focus more on politics than go deep in the weeds on the markets.
Larry Kudlow's show airs at 3 pm Central on FBN, and he's outstanding. At 5 pm CT, Dagen McDowell and Sean Duffy host an excellent hour. Charles Payne is on earlier in the day and gets far too deep on specific market metrics that don't interest me even though I understand them. Charles is plenty conservative. Stuart Varney is on for 3 hours in the morning and his show also doesn't get too market heavy, and I like him. Avoid Neal Cavuto and Liz Clayman like the plague.
Just a few of my thoughts. Although DirecTV tossed Newsmax off for a while, they put the network back on now. Since I have other interests than politics, haven't really watched much of Newsmax although I'm sure they're a solidly conservative network.

Never did get ALL my news from Fox. The newsfeeds to my home page cover the spectrum. However, I dropped Fox. My tiny effect on their ratings is the only tool I've got.
This is only the 2nd source I've dropped. I dropped NPR after they didn't want to "waste my time, or theirs" on some unsubstantiated lap top story. This, after 2 years of almost daily Russian Collusion stories.

Well, a few things to finish up then out of this subject.
(1) Obviously Fox has lost 50% of it's ratings & Newsmax has picked up theirs, because of it! :yahoo:
(2)Finally, my link to "Wipeout" with drum cover by Sina, is playing properly on my computer as of this morning.
And finally ... (3) Joy, oh joy! Although am definitely missing some of the hosts on Fox, am starting to become familiar with the ones on NewsMax.

Lawrence is a fine young man and a conservative fella from what I've heard from him. Still I'm unlikely to watch but might tune in if I can't find a suitable ballgame on the telly.

Actually listened to Lawrence last night while watching the Cubs game, and his show was quite good. Just saying, and it is a free country (for now) and everyone can watch or not watch what they want. :cheersmate:

Are you talking about Greta van Susteran? If so, damn, I haven't seen her around in ages -- probably because I thought she's part of the legacy media. Maybe not now -- dunno. But that's how long it's been since I've paid any kind of attention to the legacy media.

I remember being mildly encouraged by her reporting, but that was at least 15 years ago. I stopped listening to cable news about 20 or so years ago. That's how bad it's gotten to be.

Greta was outed for being the 2nd-largest donor to the Clinton Foundation (on the list of journalists who donated)... back when Ailes was still in-charge of the Fox news-division and the Foundation was under investigation.
Allegedly, she donated to it in order to score 'a big' interview with Bill about something.

Ah, yes. There she is. Last I heard, she was with CNN -- but there are no real journalists there any more. I always had the impression she was sharp, focused, and certainly not woke. Glad to see she's still around.

Newsmax is debuting a new show tonight at 9pm EDT, "Chris Plante: The Right Squad". Been enjoying Chris' morning show on WMAL out of Washington DC for about 7 years, and if his TV show is a reasonable facsimile of the radio gig, it should be great to watch. Apparently it is supposed to be a panel show perhaps similar to "The Five". That's about all I know regarding the format. I'm going to give it a shot tonight.
