Sarah Palin's glasses are style hit
Style conscious voters in the US are racing to get their hands on a pair of Sarah Palin's signature rimless glasses.
Opticians in the States have seen an influx in demand for Palin's specs, which she wore during her convention speech last week.
The $375 frames are by Japanese designer Kazuo Kawasaki, and are made from titanium. They are from a collection entitled the 704 series, and her specific style is the 34 grey.

So the BUZZ is that women want to look like Sarah.....they want to dress like her as well....in the mean time America is going to HELL and could care less about issues as long as they can look like Sarah..

FWIIW, frames are generally expensive -- mine are designer name and were $400+
I paid for them because I was about to lose my FSA funds. Looks like I over-estimated again this year and will get even better ones.

It really looks like the Republicans worked on this one -- the timing and decisions have been beyond impeccable: I would go as far as to say exquisite. I think Rove, Gingrich and the rest of the real Brain Trust have been meeting and TIGHTLY controlling the steps. Keeping Palin in public with McCain only and not going rogue on the Sunday talk shows is another example.
Tight discipline, something the empty suit/stuffed shirt campaign has none of.
The wheels are being tightened up on the McCain/Palin -- and they are falling off for the messi-uh.

Mrs Palin spelt out the McCain campaign plans to take on Obama Barack in the final 60 days before November's election, targeting patriotic voters unconvinced by the Democratic candidate's national security and economic credentials.
"We went right from the convention to small town USA," she said. "It's true that they grow good people, people who are working hard for America.
"You love your country in good times and bad and you're always proud to be Americans."
As Mr McCain discussed the need to launch domestic oil drilling, the crowd chanted of "Drill, Baby, Drill!"
Mrs Palin is due to conduct her first solo campaign event on Monday in Pennsylvania, home state of her vice presidential rival Joe Biden.
