1. It's no longer about guns, abortion pills, etc.

It is about the GOP need to control, kill, torture Americans.
Establish fear, terror in the population to make it a docile one.
Necessary prelude to establishing a fascist government.

They do this for the sake of power, control, votes and money.
They will kill and torment as many Americans as it takes.

Plus the GOP/MAGAs enjoy their hatred, love tormenting and killing people.
Making people suffer. Just like Hitler and Putin.

Well, no.   If they did that, they'd have to admit that the majority of those who do are in the Democrat Party fold.
