Also I think people are panicking because he ain't remotely the only one who's guilty, & if his brazenness opens the floodgates to federal prosecution of prominent national political figures, that's a potentially tremendously costly own goal for the people who signed up with him

It seems those who are consistently predict everything wrong are on the same page on this one, too. That's good. You think they'd learn and quit being wrong all the time, but they're leftists, and it involves the words "think" and "learn".

The powers that be wouldn't be pursuing this legal action if they weren't deathly afraid of what Trump would do if he became president again.
