NYPD: Take off masks before entering stores

This is quite a turnaround. I’m shocked to see this as I never thought I would.
Face masks, once an essential Covid-19 protective measure, are now being worn by criminals to conceal their identities, according to New York police who are urging businesses to unmask customers before letting them in stores.
The recommendation is a 180-degree turn from mask-wearing norms at the onset of the pandemic. During peak periods of infection, federal agencies mandated mask-wearing in public places, while many businesses required customers to wear them on the premises.
Now, however, some businesses are banning customers from entering the premises with face masks on, saying the policy change is needed to identify thieves. And after numerous incidents, the New York Police Department is urging business owners to make shoppers remove their face masks and flash their features before being let in.
Its about dang time. I cant believe its taken this darn long for the realization that masks encourage rampant theft. Masks are the perfect excuse, paired with a hat/hoodie, and glasses, to obscure ones identity. But then, im just a simple country bumpkin. Whatta I know?

"COVIDidiot-precedence" literaly means "I am more important than the people I consider COVIDidiots". It's a grotesquely arrogant and ignorant thing to say.
As for criminals using masking to their advantage, gee, who could have seen that coming?

Masking widespread made them feel like they're a majority. They were after all, willing to burn 'my body my choice' at the stake, to politicize them and make them a defacto uniform.
When they see a masked person today, they know that there is a 90 plus percent chance that the person wearing it, is a DUmmy or a modern leftist loon. They think making kids wear masks will convert those kids likewise.
Their pissyness over losing this power play, is the same pissyness they display every time another lefty power play goes down in flames.

Despite the evidence that masks and vaccines don't work to stop one from catching the Chinese Wuhan Red Death, leftists still cling to the debunked "science".
Rediscovered this Carlin clip from over 20 years ago during the height of the Wuhan, and re-listen to it every few months. Have posted it before and well worth a listen for its common sense. I'm certain even hearing such blasphemy would be banned at the DUmp or most lib-turd sites.

Indeed. Much like their strategy with which they deal with the Twitter files is to pretend the revelations therein don't exist. Or they just live in such an informational bubble that they don't even know about things that contradict their worldview.

25. I would never shop in a store that asked me to remove my mask. To be effective, masks have to be
worn constantly if indoors or crowded outdoor areas, especially if others are unmasked.
It takes me a while to get the seal just right over my nose and face with my 3M N95 Aura mask. I'm not going to have to do that over and over again and contaminate the mask.

Was innocently scrolling by a few talk shows the other night while trying to find the channel I desired, and caught some random talk show that had a crowd shot. Everyone in the crowd was indeed wearing a face diaper. That's insane.

I think this thing with not giving up on the masks is some sort of mental illness.
Specially when you see some young healthy people wearing one of the custom cloth ones that probably have more germs than a public toilet seat :thatsright:

I’m currently on a cruise to Central America and Mexico. I’ve seen a total of 2 masks on a boat that holds 6,500 passengers and I don’t know how many crew. Vaccinations are no longer required.
This is a DUmmie nightmare.
