Grocery stores in my area are out of ketchup

I live in Palm Beach County, almost half an hour from Mar-a-Lago. I had trouble finding ketchup in the store today. A few phone calls confirmed that other nearby stores were also out of ketchup.

Is this some kind of plot by the Heinz Co. and others to screw us on the price of ketchup? Who knows? Any suggestions?

A plot??? Are you serious???  :whatever:

:mental: I've been seeing random spot outages of specific grocery items for going on 3 years. Last Saturday, it was half gallon size of hazelnut flavored creamer (though quart size of the same brand hazelnut creamer were there). A few weeks ago, the store was very low on eggs. It's production and/or distribution disruptions, not a Big Ketchup Conspiracy (though Cyanose could always email John "Heinz" Kerry).

We are going to look back on the 2021-2022 years of Biden purposeful food shortages and 20%+ inflation as the good times... because we could get some food. But if we don't have the energy to cook the food....

Maybe "Big John" needs the extra dough to pay for his green life style:  Enjoy!

Bacon.  :argh:

Bacon is expensive, but still available.

We went to three different walmart stores in two different states a couple days ago, and none of them had eggs. Not small, not large, not jumbo, not "organic", not ANY.

And when we did find them elsewhere , they were 4.50 a dozen.

No egg shortage here. Yet.  :panic:

Matter of fact, I went to my Wholesale Supplier today for my Bakery Supplies. Picked up 7.5 dozen large eggs, for 29.66. Not the best price in the world, but have to work with it. But I have noticed for the last couple of weeks, they havent a drop of Milk, or Cream of any kind.

If I cant buy eggs, my business is going to be in serious trouble. I know that.

We're not short of ketchup out here (or even eggs) but while my wife and I were travelling for our 20th this weekend, we tried to get Caesar's salad, and it was all gone. We had to settle for Spring Mix instead.

Damned vegans and their salad hording conspiracies!  :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

It's a combination of manufacturing and supply disruptions. Thankfully I'm out of food supply now but I had countless times having to explain to customers that x product wasn't in their order along with the rest of their chain.  At the height of covid, it was so bad that things were at least 3 weeks behind. Walgreens kicks orders out of their system after a certain time period. I'd have to explain to their managers that they would have to accept their orders anyway because I couldn't promise that there would be another truck anytime soon and I'd rather see them have something on their shelves. They usually took it

It's a joke based on a report that President Trump threw ketchup at the wall in a rage about something.

Hahaha.

11. Time to switch over to Hunt's Natural Ketchup

Heinz uses high fructose corn syrup. I stopped buying it and stated buying Hunt’s. I love it!

Disloyal to John Kerry!

DUmmy, Heinz has at least 2 varieties of ketchup that do not have high fructose corn syrup.

The DUmmies are worrying about the wrong thing. When the diesel shortages start happening lack of ketchup will seem like a good memory.
