To a normal person, this seems like common sense. Tot he DUmpass, they think it's an injustice.

Florida will strip teaching licenses from teachers who mention gender identity or sexuality in k-3
https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/fla-to-strip-licenses-of-k-3-teachers-who-discuss-gender-identity-sexuality/ar-AA12VLOp
The rule, proposed in August and approved by Education Commissioner Manny Diaz Jr. in September, is intended to enforce a 2021 state law that forbids instruction on gender identity and sexuality for children in kindergarten through third grade. The measure, the Parental Rights in Education Act, is known by opponents as the “don’t say gay” law.
The Florida Department of Education has done little to publicize its rule on teachers’ licenses. The rule appeared online around the same time that the state was taking damage from Hurricane Ian, which has left more than 100 dead. News of the rule was first reported Tuesday by the newsletter the Progress Report.
The rule states that any teacher who “intentionally provide classroom instruction” to K-3 students on those two topics will face “revocation or suspension of the individual educator’s certificate, or the other penalties as provided by law.”

1. Nothing like making a teacher shortage even worse.
They want those kids to remain uneducated.
I'm interested in seeing if this thread gets any traction and how many of them will be outraged over it.

Kids in Grades K-3 are learning their A-B-Cs, how to read, and how to add and subtract, not LGBQTs and how to use condoms and lube for ...... . There is zero reason for homos', breeders', binaries', bestials', etc.s' sexuality and/or sexual cosplay costumage to be mentioned in class.

Just checked. The usual outrage. "quit teaching" "all they want to do is teach kids to read" (hint: try "dick and jane". It's what I used). "freedom" and so on.
Liberalism is truly a mental disease.

They should also be prosecuted as sex offenders. :thatsright:

I can guarantee you I would be IF I were to try and talk to a kindergartner about this at WalMart..there would be outrage.

2 things;
1. There is absolutely no reason to talk to kids in school about your sexuality. All the way up to high school graduation! You can’t give me one good reason why any student needs to know their teachers sex life. Not one.
2. These people had/have ZERO issue with firing medical professionals during a shortage … why is it any different?

2. Maybe its time that public school teachers quit the public school system and establish
their own brand of private schools. I don't know how it is in FL but in Az public school teachers no longer need to be certified. Depending on the individual state law, under a new brand of private schools the state would have no control over what was taught in these brand of private schools.
Uh huh. What could possibly go wrong? :???:

I am picturing that poster's idea playing out... and I see teachers in those hypothetical private schools talking to empty classrooms.

Parents are fleeing the leftist scum dominating the public screwel system in droves, and somehow these clowns think that after getting out of that they'll BUY INTO a private school run by socialists, the dregs of the LGBTXYZPDQABC activist mob, and the very same groomers and full blown pedophiles they just got their kids away from???
This is even more daft than usual for the DUmp Monkies...

I wonder how many DU-folk are aware of the recent significant decline in PS enrollment. Private school enrollment and homeschooling have probably both jumped.

Another great business idea from The DUmp.
What sane parent would pay out of pocket to have their kids sexualized and groomed in grade school?

.
Lets be plain and characterize this accurately:
What the DUmmy means, is that since they aren't being allowed, resistance free, to push their 'brand' in public schools, they should just quit and make their own schools so that no one can tell them NO.
Their 'brand', is all about indoctrination, peer pressure, and social shaming, with cancellation as the stick...and they want to push it on the most vulnerable of us all - children.
Evil bastards.

Found this chart of nheri.org:
"National Home Education Research Institute" is pretty much eponymous. They research homeschoolers and founder Dr. Brian Ray homeschooled his children. NHERI has been around for decades and have figured prominently in court cases. The time scale of the chart gets non-linear at 2016, but eyeballing the numbers makes clear that homeschooling jumped in 2020 and 2021, unsurprisingly, and dropped some in 2022 (assuming 2022 stats are basically complete/correct), also unsurprisingly. BUT, not all of that "Covid Jump" receded back into the previous growth trend-line.
Some parents who found themselves homeschooling courtesy of PS shutdowns found that they could and enjoyed homeschooling. Unions prolonging the shutdowns probably played poorly, providing very obvious proof that teacher's unions are not really about education. However another part of the mix that may be hard to discern is PS embrace of racist CRT, promotion of sexual perversions and mutilation, and educrats' anti-parent attitudes and actions. People often have multiple motives for actions, and parent who moved to and stuck with homeschooling, which is a major lifestyle change, probably have some or all of these concerns.
Statewide and local homeschooling orgs don't get taxpayer $$, directly or by payroll-deducted dues. They are member-funded, with substantial volunteerism. I suspect they have been stretched or overwhelmed by all these new homeschoolers seeking experienced advice, activities, and general support.

Our educational system and standards have been slipping on a fast, downward spiral since you leftists and the NEA took over in the 70's, and there's a ton of empirical data to prove it.
