A young thread with just a few response. Im sure it will be full of upbeat positivity from the climate crowd once they wake up at 3 PM

3. Some folks stand in the middle of their
destroyed home in water up to their neck and praise the republicans and deny climate change is real while they cry and ask for help to clean up and rebuild.
Will they continue to vote for the wrath of mother nature against their own well being due to their stubborn stupidity until it finally takes their life ?
DON'T TREAD ON ME YOU IDIOTS !!
HELP US SAVE YOU, WE LOVE YOU VOTE BLUE..
No. No you dont. The second someone steps out of line with the Dems., then they are the enemy. We see this on a nearly daily basis. Stop pretending.
As far as "climate change" goes, we have no control. Does the climate change? Im sure it does. The Ice Age, and the death of the Dinosaurs was probably due to climate change. The problem is that the Dinosaurs werent heating their houses with coal and driving around gasoline chugging cars.
Lurking muppets. The climate changes because its cyclical. We cant control it. Period.

4. Liberals warned and were laughed at.
Then the history of liberal environmentalism was erased by Democrats-are-corrupt-both-sides-corporatist-establishment-elites attacks meant to convince young people not to vote.
What???

Oh so now you think your a paleontologist? Well if men can have babies then T-Rex can drive a car, although not sure how they would steer and also heat their houses. It would be funny watching them trying to make a bed though. :cheersmate:

Are DUmmies back to this stupid Warmista narrative? ::) Looking at 1990-2021 worldwide hurricane stats, https://www.statista.com/statistics/1297656/number-hurricanes-worldwide/ , if anything, the average number of hurricanes per year is either steady or declining slightly.
This webpage has numbers of Atlantic hurricanes by year from 1851 to 2017 , http://www.stormfax.com/huryear.htm . While older data may be low from lack of records, I don't see any obvious trend, increase or decrease. Maybe charting the numbers would show trends or cycles I don't see just looking at the numbers.

Climate Change is just a leftist religion and dogma to control the plebes.

Of course it is….
1970’s - new ice age ! We are all gonna die !
1980’s - acid rain ! We are all gonna die !
1990’s - hole in the ozone layer ! We are all gonna die !
2000’s - global warming ! We are all gonna die !
2010 and beyond - Climate change ! We are all gonna die !
At least they have part if it right, we are all going to die… Eventually.

When the climate change overlords start presenting solutions that don't increase their power over us and their bank accounts, and solutions that impose the same limits on polluters like China and India that the overlords are trying to shove on us, I might listen to them. Until then, the whole scheme still sounds like a power play by folks who want to rule the world cause they think they are better than the rest of us.
Yes, we need to be responsible with the planet God gave us. But there's a difference between responsible use and the climate change overlords demands.

I did averages for the decades since 1900:
1900s - 4.2 per year
1910s - 3.7 per year
1920s - 4.1 per year
1930s - 5.2 per year
1940s - 5.3 per year
1950s - 6.9 per year
1960s - 6.1 per year
1970s - 4.9 per year
1980s - 5.2 per year
1990s - 6.4 per year
2000s - 7.4 per year
2010s - 7.25 per year (8 years)
The numbers for the 1900s, 1910s, and 1920s probably should have an asterisk, as observation and records may be incomplete, and wind speed instruments may not have been very good. As military and civil aviation grew in the 20s and 30s, observation, records, and instrument technology improved. Ignoring that caveat, Atlantic hurricanes increased some, starting in the 1930s, but not dramatically.
From W'pedia, there were 6 hurricanes in 2019, and 8 in 2018. That would lower the 2010s average to 7.2 per year.

Yeah, and we now name things that are NOT tropical systems. Case in point tropical storm Colin this year. It formed over land, yes I’ll repeat over land in SC. Came right over us in Ocracoke NC and it rained a little over night and as it got closer it was partly cloudy and winds light and variable. I don’t believe half of the systems they name.
Just look at all the fish storms that we never even used to know about that count as that figure now of hurricanes that year.

All human beings have an inherent "recency bias". In other words, whatever is occurring now is more important or greater than whatever happened in history. Simple human nature. Which is invariably wrong without a concept and understanding of history.

Has anyone mentioned that it’s been what, 70 years, since we’ve gone this far in a Hurricane season without have the first named storm touch the continental US?
They act like this is the storm to end all storms. Latest in the season for 70 years, 5th strongest on record?
Yeah … I guess I see how they could misunderstand what they’re seeing.

As I said before, Colin back in July was the first. Though it wasn’t a hurricane

The warming trend since 1979 isn't a big deal.
1. Yep
We reap what we sow
The warning propaganda was politically motivated by the trio of assholes who set up that dishonest/misleading Senate hearings in 1988.
The warming trend since 1979 is similar to other warming trends back to the 1800's as warmist Dr. Jones admitted in the BBC Interview:
Q&A: Professor Phil Jones
A - Do you agree that according to the global temperature record used by the IPCC, the rates of global warming from 1860-1880, 1910-1940 and 1975-1998 were identical?
An initial point to make is that in the responses to these questions I've assumed that when you talk about the global temperature record, you mean the record that combines the estimates from land regions with those from the marine regions of the world. CRU produces the land component, with the Met Office Hadley Centre producing the marine component.
Temperature data for the period 1860-1880 are more uncertain, because of sparser coverage, than for later periods in the 20th Century. The 1860-1880 period is also only 21 years in length. As for the two periods 1910-40 and 1975-1998 the warming rates are not statistically significantly different (see numbers below).
I have also included the trend over the period 1975 to 2009, which has a very similar trend to the period 1975-1998.
So, in answer to the question, the warming rates for all 4 periods are similar and not statistically significantly different from each other.
Here are the trends and significances for each period:

This is truly stupid stuff since Hurricanes and Tropical storms have run through Florida and associate states many times in the distant past thus not indicative of climate change at all just variable weather incidents.

You are laughed at because you are stupid as a liberal can be stupid which means you are in need of shock therapy since the liberal environmentalism is littered by stupid predictions that failed spectacularly:

I posted this in three forums and see that leftist idiots go into a fetal ball unable to handle the destruction of the climate change delusions It so effectively attacks.

Knock on wood, but we haven't been hit with anything major from the big bend of Florida to the bend in Texas since last year and we're about a month away from the season ending. It's been a pretty weak hurricane season, relatively speaking and with great sympathy to those on the SW coast of Florida and coastal areas of SC.
What say you, DUmbasses?
