Well, since Brandon, et al, just pulled off an October Surprise in August to try to divert attention from a horrible economy, leaving Trump ample time between Auguast and November to explode the stunt in Brandon, et al's face, I'd say the Dems are acting in desperation and failing to address the currently horrible economy. IOW, the steam the Dems are picking up is coming from the ears of normal people who are worried about and dealing with inflation, high gas prices, crime, and schools that are grooming havens and insistent on labeling children as racists based on their skin color.

Unfortunately, they do have an edge in the senate. Not because they're doing a good job, or because of any recent revelations, but because republicans are defending more seats.

Otherwise, I'm not seeing what democrats have in the way of "gaining steam". Abrams will lose. O'Rourke will lose. Crist will lose. Democrats are poised to lose the House. They would need to win basically all toss-ups, plus some races that lean republican right now.

True about the senate but the biggest weapon the democrats have there is Mitch McConnell. He has and will do anything to stop MAGA senate candidates from winning. He has cut RNSC funding and is doing his best to disillusion the republican base by passing pro-democrat/communist bills like gun control and the Build Inflation and Green Boondoggle Bill. He has given Schmuck Schumer everything he has asked for... and then some.

We have to run like we are WAY behind and the Democracy is at stake!

Gaze deeper.  You ARE way behind.

Now get back to work so you can pay some rich kid's loan off.

 :hi5:

Why can't we get rid of Mitch?  He does as much damage, if not more than the D's.

In the thread, hardly a number, race or link to support their opinion that they are gaining ground, momentum, seats or anything else, other than the KS abortion vote and NY (ooohhh, D's winning in NY, there's a shock and sign of a blue wave).

We are still not a democracy, never have been, as long as the Constitution is followed, we never will be.  The only thing at stake on your side is your delusions of influence and power.  For us in the real world, independence and peace are at the stake if you nutters and your string pullers stay in power.

500ish views with what, 8 replies on that find thread at the DUmp. I think that says more about the reality that the Muppets are forced to realize. Its not going their way.  :cheersmate:

Will that be before, or after the DNC makes their blood offering to the mystical, all-powerful Dominion Vote Tabulators of Plenty?
