John McCain and the Sundown Effect....Are his medicals out?
Edited on Fri Sep-05-08 10:35 AM by pacoyogi
I think what I saw last night---the poor speechifying, the agitation, word stumbling, restlessness---

I think the guy has Sundown Syndrome, common in early-stage dementia. Has anyone looked at his medicals or tracked how he does day vs. night?

Is this part of the reason he wants 'townhall style' debates? Because he will be able to wander/move? Is this why Palin was announced during the day?

Is he on any dementia drugs, like rivastigmire (Exelon), donepezil (Aricept), or galantamine (Reminyl).

Having been around older people with this syndrome, I was startled by MCCain last night...

"Startled" my ass.... you were perched on the edge of your toadstool, hoping in vain for a newsworthy mistake that never materialized......

Sundown syndrome is a behavior that is described as confusion, anxiety, agitation, or disorientation that often occurrs at dusk and into the evening hours. The episodes may last a few hours or throughout the night.

I think we may have stumbled onto a diagnosis for the pitiful Pittster, the Magic Man of the DUmp. His hopeless alcoholism is still the most likely explanation for his problems, but this early onset dementia is a possibility. His choice of a solid black Midnight Cowboy costume for sitting on fire ants, in 100F weather, in the ditch at Crawford, was one clue. Add to that the fact that his 3am/4am posts are always severely confused and agitated, and you start to see the pattern.

All this talk of McCain's age and health is just another way of saying the Obamassiah can't win on the issues.

Hey!! No more speaking troof2dummies !!

I find it fascinating, the raw contradiction Obama is going to win in a landslide - coupled with attacking insignificant issues.
If I were that confident in my assessment, Id leave the little issues alone, and win magnanimously.

Now we have it, the official "Dump Disease", Sundown Syndrome. Common in early-stage dementia and dopeheads of all ages.
