Oh my goodness. Looks like we have the next contender. Nothing is official just yet as the DU grade prog. is mulling it over.

Do people really donate to GoFundMe?
I have in the past but I just don't know if it's successful.
Some of you here know my story. I'm a long time member who was recently diagnosed with stage 2 ovarian cancer. I spent a few days in ICU after surgery and am now receiving chemo.
I had insurance through the federal Marketplace because I had just started a new job. (Just wanted to say the employer has been fantastic about everything.) I met my deductible early on with my Ambetter but now I'm eligible for employer sponsored insurance. Once again I'll need to meet a deductible in the thousands. I can keep my Marketplace but I'll lose the credit which will make my premium about $1500/month. I have to take the new insurance, meet the deductible and I'm still paying on what hasn't been covered.
This might not feel like a GD topic but medical bills are huge in the U.S. If someone has advice about GFM or another please let me know. If you just want to vent or bring up examples of why this sucks feel free to do so. Idk, maybe I'm just venting myself today to keep from crying. Between chemo and an active shooter situation at work this week along with my medical bills piling I just need some advice. I can't focus well at the moment.

21. I advise to start one
I know how cancer bills can add up. It is part of why I am in my situation
Definitely keep an eye on this one. She has stated she cant afford this, and that. Already sewing the seeds, of need. :lmao:

Makes me wonder how things would have turned out if GoFundMe was around during the Andy saga...

I'm happy to see that Lord Marblehead EarlG, when he took over Skins' island, took one of my three suggestions for the betterment of his real estate, and made Big Mo's psycho forum nonpublic.
I'm however unhappy to see that Lord Marblehead ignored the second of my suggestions for the betterment of his real estate, and didn't ban fund raisers.
And there's the third of my suggestions for the betterment of Skins's island, that of having a sex forum, but maybe Lord Marblehead just hasn't yet made a decision on that.
