Then what is?

If ensuring that American citizens have access to the healthcare they need to live is not a priority - then what is?

If you have a life threating situation go to the E.R. they cant refuse you. Otherwise, it is NOT the gov. responsibility to keep you kicking.

If making sure that every American can vote isn't important - then what is?

Every legal citizen that qualifies, is eligible.

If feeding the hungry and sheltering the homeless isn't the aim of "good American Christians" - then what is?

Good god. There are numerous charities, private organizations, and once again the Gov. who feed people.

Quote
If keeping military-grade weapons off the streets of our towns and cities isn't the goal of Second Amendment advocates - then what is?

Once again, yall throwing that term around like it means anything. Cause it doesnt.

Quote
If the overwhelming opinion of the citizenry on the issue of abortion isn't considered relevant by the Supreme Court - then what is?

The law as written in the Constitution. You should try reading it.

Quote
If attempting to overthrow democracy isn't considered to be a crime - then what is?

Nobody attempted to overthrow Democracy, because we are not a Democracy.

Just a bunch of questions - waiting for the GOP to come up with the answers.

To add to what has already been said:

By and large, "military grade weapons" are nowhere near our streets.

If the overwhelming opinion of the citizenry on the issue of abortion isn't considered relevant by the Supreme Court - then what is?

This has to be one of the weakest arguments I've seen on this issue.

The opinion of the majority of the populace isn't supposed to figure into the court's rulings. A lot of our citizens probably don't even understand the legal ramifications of overturning Roe v. Wade. It's also accepted by a large number of citizens simply because it's been in place for so long.

I hope all your questions are underhanded softball pitches like these.

To make the second amendment great again, and have it protect military weapons as the framers intended it to.

Whos streets? OUR streets.  :lmao:

1. Not! Government's! Business!!!

2. Between my parents being provident and having a remunerative career path and jobs, I have been without health insurance less than a year in my >65 year lifetime (~2/3 my employers' healthplans, now). I have never been on any form of government assistance healthcare. If an ordinary schlub like me can do it ...

In real life, it is the Roe decision that was anti-democratic. It took regulation of abortion out of citizens' sphere of voting and influence. Overturning Roe restored regulation of abortion to states' legislatures and governors, i.e. to officials elected by states' citizens, and again permitted states to have laws reflecting the differing (state to state) views of their citizens.

Not that facts ever mattered to Nance or any other DUpipo.

Nan should have questions for the Dems, but she’s incapable of criticizing her own. No matter. Besides, the longer they go without pointing fingers at their own, the better it is for decent and civilized people.

I used to have that.  Then, Obamacare ruined the healthcare system, and it priced insurance waaaaay outside of many people's grasps.  Also, you can't find a PCP anymore, anywhere.  You guys did this.

ETA, I rowed over and remembered why I never click on a Nance thread.  The only responses are "K&R!"  "+ 1000!" and "Love you Nance!"

I assume the "K&R" and "Love you Nance" replies can be taken to mean "these are my thoughts too!".

In that case, there's not a lot of thinking going on over there.

For you enterprising DUmp moles, a great way to pad one's post count is to simply type "K&R" or the ever nauseating "Send thee to the greatest page" to threads such as Drunken Aunt Nance. Can fess up I've done that a few thousand times.

I didn't even bother with reading the stupid responses, I just did a quick scan of how many of them had the Ukrainian flag avatars.  Why do they keep the Ukrainian flag avatars when they've obviously forgotten all about Ukraine?
