I am going ahead and say what I think.

I think these shootings are a form of a violent civil war. The Republicans do not care about the rights of people who can’t defend themselves from their own country when they have done nothing wrong, just living their lives day to day. Yet, gun laws will be weak in efforts to stop these shootings. Too many Republicans have aligned themselves to the fascist side of the NRA and Trump. Winning at all costs is their game plan and if people are killed? So be it, too bad. Just like on J-6, they acted sincere but knew they were not going to be hurt by the mob. So, let’s not kid ourselves, this is their way of fighting a war.

They said “I am going to go ahead and say what I think”, as if something was holding them back. It turns out what they think is essentially no different from what much of DU thinks.

It's shorter, and more to the point.
