Let's call for a one-day STRIKE by all Community Organizers across the country
Edited on Thu Sep-04-08 03:39 PM by JimDandy
How soon could we pull this off? We'd need to get the word out to local organizations in our cities. Especially ones that are connected with government programs. Contact the media. etc.
Ummm, blushing, we first need DU community organizers to put this together. Who's in?

Really, this is so dumb, it makes one wonder if DUmmy JimDandy is a deep cover sock puppet of DUmmy stevenumbers.
If community organizers went on strike, how could we tell? A sudden drop in corruption?

If the roll of the "community organizer" is so vital, why are we all having to ask what in the hell is a "community organizer"? We have no such lack of recognition when we hear mention of "garbage men" and "mailman", etc.
I suspect "community organizers" can go on strike for years and years and not a soul would notice or care.

they could be on strike right now... how would we know? :lmao:

There will hundre...nay thousands of meetings that accomplish nothing canceled. OH the Humnaity!!111!!!!111!!!

Comrades!! The evil people who love freedom are mocking our ability to rob the gov't treasury in order to buy votes and keep people in poverty by offering them promises we can never keep.
We must save the USSR!! A call to arms!!

ok DUmmies .. listen up.
Sarah Palin did not diminish people who organize communities. she diminshed Obama's use of it as 'experience' for running for president.
along with his lame "i'm running my own campaign!" quips, so far, we havent heard anything about his lawyering or his time as a constitutional law professor .. why is that?
-
Community Organizers----ain't that what we used to call troublemakers?
-
What she actually said was very true if perhaps overly-generous: That being a community organizer was similar to being a small town mayor, except that the mayor had actual responsibilities....i.e. that the mayor actually had to answer to someone else instead of just applying whatever level of effort pleased him or her.

3. Because your feelings were hurt?
The people losing out on this deal are the people not getting the help they need during the strike.

11. Good grief!! No, my "feelings" aren't so easily hurt, but the idea is to point out to the repukes
that billions of people would lose out if there weren't community leaders/organizers. In fact, I'd bet that everyone benefits every day from the efforts of some community organizer.
Billions and billions of people would lose out without these people that nobody knows exist or what the hell they do. :rotf:

When and where dipshit? I'll take that bet anywhere, anytime, for any amount you'd care to wager.

Here's some irony: Two community organizers just stopped by to see if I wanted my address repainted on the curb. God Bless those dedicated folks!

A general absence of body odor wafting on the breezes.

Yes, by all means, stop begging.

Is a Community Organizer the Bozo I tell no peddlers allowed and slam my door on?
