The radical political agenda of the Supreme Court.

Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.

The Republicans worked hard to get a super majority on the Supreme Court. No one worked harder than Mitch McConnell.

Republicans used Donald Trump and the Federalist Society to stack the present Court. Trump could have cared less who was on the Court - he wanted the political rewards. McConnell saw it as his legacy.

Now, we see the dangers of such radical manipulation. Against the will of the people and the Constitution, and all for a political agenda and a political Party, we have regressed into a unsustainable position.

Democrats were willing to co-exist with a conservative majority, because there were some small self-controls with a 5-4 majority. That disappeared once they attained their 6-3 super majority.

The difference between a super progressive majority and a super regressive majority is the difference between going forward and going backward. One is based on higher ideals and the other is based on political and religious dogma.

kentuck being extra stupid this moring

4. The people simply will not accept surrendering their rights without a fight.

They will rebel against such radical actions, in my opinion.

There has to be some semblance of a democracy. The radical agenda is not acceptable.

you are calling for insurrection...

3. The Supremes

will always be the guy who should have been an Obama pick, the drunk and the prissy, unqualified lady who was rammed through. I'll never respect any of them.

7. +33.

All that squawking about "activist judges" fits the pattern.

In this way their radicalism is protected from critical thought, and has a perceived legitimacy among the believers.

I'm frightened by the flood of hype about "critical race theory", and whatever is being conjured up there.

Trumpsky and Co. purposefully unlocked Pandora's box.

..however weak or flawed it might be. They have confidence in their propaganda network.

9. Yes.

They'd be lost without it.

Case in point - McConnell trying to tell reporters asking about his key role in assembling the court that will reverse Roe v. Wade what they should really be asking him about... the fact that the draft decision was (gasp) leaked.

Without the brainwashed backers, they can't win a contest of ideas.

The only sense in which plain language, common sense interpretations and applications of, e.g., the 2nd and 10th Amendments are "radical" is that they strike at the roots of Prog agendas.

The radical political agenda was abortion being made legal. And abortion most definitely is the opposite of freedom.

In the ~23 1/2 years I've been on news/politics discussion sites I've posted my Pro-Life views many times, but NEVER in religious terms. Prog Stereotype FAIL.

Republicans used Donald Trump and the Federalist Society to stack the present Court.

Can we have a definition of 'stacking' the court please? I seem to have missed the moment when Pres. Trump increased the size the court so that he could fill it with his nominees. The bits I saw were when he fulfilled his constitutional duty and nominated replacements to vacancies. I do seem to remember the leftist agitating to stack the court simply because they didn't manage to retain control of it - but then, projection is definitely one of the DUmp's stronger points.
