As I posted earlier about the 2 American volunteer soldiers wounded in Ukraine I wondered

where all the flag waving right wingers blasting "i'm Proud To Be An American" on their radios? After reading that report about our brave volunteer soldiers going into harms way to protect another democracy I can say today that I am proud to be an American, something I thought I would never say again after 4 years of tRump.

I'm not aware we were supposed to be jumping up-and-down in glee.

Blame the mainstream news media, who's supposed to keep us informed.

Americans fighting for Ukraine? Honestly this is the first I've heard this but not a surprise. It also wouldn't be a surprise to me if it came to light that there are Americans fighting for Russia in this conflict.

I'm such a jerk that I frequently fact-check claims along the lines of, "The media are covering up news about ______!" Because such unqualified claims are seldom true. Anyway, I thought I'd do a sort of reverse fact-check on this DUmmie's fantasy-gotcha. I DDGed and Googled american volunteers wounded in ukraine. Between the main results and news pages for both search engines I found all of two news sources covering the story, none MSM. Of the two, I'd only heard of "Coffee Or Die" magazine.

IOW, the OP DUmmie lyingly made this story out to be huge all over the MSM, but Rs and conservatives are ignoring it. In reality the MSM haven't, to date, covered it at all (that I could find). DUmmies lie all the time .....
