Concede Twitter to Elon Muck? **** that.
A lot of people get what little news they do from places like Twitter. That sucks, but it's how it is. We need a left perspective on there, now more than ever.
And selfishly, I don't want to miss any of the great tweets we see come across this forum.
Take the bastard on. In his backyard.

1. Time for Twitter Two?
Those Twitter founders and early execs gotta find something worthwhile to do with their new massive riches.

2. Maybe a WeRNotTwitter . Outsiders could take the market.
Things change and then they change again.

4. Nationalize Twitter!
or I dunno, maybe just have a public/state-owned optional platform or something. Give right-wingers something to really complain about.

5. What are you talking about? A un-American fascist bought it because they're losing
If you stay on Twitter, then you're funding him against our country. Abandon it. Another message platform will be created. Time for all to leave. Time for advertisers and Senators and Congressmen. Let it be just another failed right-wing cesspool.

6. I suggest an organized campaign of calling him a pedophile. Tweet after Tweet and see how long he pretends to be this "freedom of speech absolutist". If he can do it to some poor guy in Thailand........

11. The person to blame is not musk but the person selling it.
Why is that person getting a free ride from criticism? Doesn’t make sense.
:thatsright:

I'll bet if all of the DUMp DUchebags pooled all their assets they could make a tender offer of almost $3168 for twitter.

The first sentence is part of the problem. The third sentence is a complaint against a problem that doesn't exist.

DUmbass; if you're getting even a significant minority of your information stream from TWIT-ter, you are literally too misinformed and almost certainly too incapable of anything even remotely resembling critical thinking.
You are exactly the kind of misanthropic imbecile the Founding Fathers tried desperately to keep the franchise out of the hands of, and you belong in a voting booth about as much as the dementia-addled #JoeThePedophile belongs in story hour at a kindergarten

This DUmmy didn't think it through.
A public/state platform of any kind is bound legally by first amendment restrictions on governmental interference of speech.
The ones 'really complaining' would be the dems, especially if there were active oversite of it with teeth, making sure that nobodys first amendment rights were violated.

The party that is afraid of too much free speech is here to lecture us on how we're losing (and how we're fascists).

Like Pravda? Maybe ban all others by the state? Any dissenters punished by death? Awesome! Where have we heard that before?
Oh yeah,

That's what I was going to say! But you appear to have said it better anyway.

Spoiled-Brat Proggie loudmouths who don't bail - ala Shaun King - from Twitter are likely to get driven from Twitter by people of differing views who are allowed to express their views fully and clearly without interference from company-censors.
Contrary to DUmmie stereotypes, Stormfront-grade racists will find conservatives well able to drive them back to their echo-chamber sewers ... and have fun doing it (BTDTGTTS, :-) ).
-
If you're relying on Twitter or Facebook for your "news", you are a complete loser. Those sites don't cover the news, they "un" cover it. See the Hunter Biden laptop from "H" "E" double hockey sticks.

Same thing happened at discussionist. Skimmer thought by allowing liberals and conservatives to share the same platform, liberals would show conservatives how they were wrong.
What happened was conservatives argued points based on logic and sound reasoning, liberals argued from emotion. The liberals wound up leaving because they couldn't win.
The board was shut down when it was basically conservatives left.
-
I can't help but keep thinking about the title- "Concede Twitter to Muck". Like Twitter belongs to the left. It's supposed to be their enclave, their tool.

Kinda miss playing around at DU junior and relentlessly mocking and teasing Graham4Anything.
