BREAKING: Sarah Palin "Winged" Her Speech Because of "Broken" Teleprompter

Halfway through Sarah Palin's speech tonight at the RNC, people following the speech noticed she was deviating from the prepared text.
According to sources close to the McCain campaign, the teleprompter continued scrolling during applause breaks. As a result, half way through the speech, the speech had scrolled significantly from where Governor Palin was in the speech. The malfunction also occurred during Rudy Giuliani's speech, explaining his significant deviations from his speech.
Unfazed, Governor Palin continued, from memory, to deliver her speech without the teleprompter cued to the appropriate point in her speech.
Contrast this to Barack Obama who, when last his teleprompter malfunctioned, was left stuttering before a crowd unable to advance his speech until the problem was resolved.
Sarah Palin. Winner.

And this is just another reason why she is more than qualified and right for this position. It's something most of us learned in high school...how to IMPROVISE. Something the Ivy League superstar has yet to learn.

I just heard that this morning - you would have never known she got flustered even a little bit. Even when that code pink wacko was hustled out, she didnt even register it on her face..
I also read that her first short speech last Friday was written by her - kind of a wild thing to do these days with whole teams of speech writers waiting on them hand and foot.
and I finally heard a lot bit of that "Fargo" accent last night :-)
my husband really, really loved her but he's a hockey guy from Canada, so, she's probably getting a ton of support from the Great White North as well today.. :cheersmate:

She rocked. No two ways about it. I only heard one tiny, tiny, tiny stumble and that's when she was talking about foreign powers and oil. She paused for a nanosecond on "Venezuela" but I chalked it up to just a normal blip while speaking.
