Message from David Plouffe: 'What you just saw'

Campaign manager David Plouffe just sent out this email...
Dear Friend --
I wasn't planning on sending you something tonight. But if you saw what I saw from the Republican convention, you know that it demands a response.
I saw John McCain's attack squad of negative, cynical politicians. They lied about Barack Obama and Joe Biden, and they attacked you for being a part of this campaign.
But worst of all -- and this deserves to be noted -- they insulted the very idea that ordinary people have a role to play in our political process.
You know that despite what John McCain and his attack squad say, everyday people have the power to build something extraordinary when we come together. Will you make a donation right now to remind them?
Both Rudy Giuliani and Sarah Palin specifically mocked Barack's experience as a community organizer on the South Side of Chicago more than two decades ago, where he worked with people who had lost jobs and been left behind when the local steel plants closed.
Let's clarify something for them right now.
Community organizing is how ordinary people respond to out-of-touch politicians and their failed policies.
And it's no surprise that, after eight years of George Bush, millions of people have found that by coming together in their local communities they can change the course of history. That promise is what our campaign has been about from the beginning.
Throughout our history, ordinary people have made good on America's promise by organizing for change from the bottom up. Community organizing is the foundation of the civil rights movement, the women's suffrage movement, labor rights, and the 40-hour workweek. And it's happening today in church basements and community centers and living rooms across America.
Meanwhile, we still haven't gotten a single idea during the entire Republican convention about the economy and how to lift a middle class so harmed by the Bush-McCain policies.
It's now clear that John McCain's campaign has decided that desperate lies and personal attacks -- on Barack Obama and on you -- are the only way they can earn a third term for the Bush policies that McCain has supported more than 90 percent of the time.
But you can send a crystal clear message.
Enough is enough. Make your voice heard loud and clear by making a donation right now:
http://my.barackobama.com/page/outreach/view/main/du (edited to make it the DU link)
Thank you for joining more than 2 million ordinary Americans who refuse to be silenced.
David
translation: "we are so screwed!! we need more money to go out and attack all the truth to power Sarah Palin was just peddling. PLEASE make a donation NOW!!" :lmao:

Obama is going to get a bump out of the RNC convention?? :mental:
-
Lies?
Smears?
Cynicism?
Again, Obama is running on rhetoric without specifics.
-
Hmmmm...let's see .
Sarah Palin said Obama was a community organizer.....he was. Check
Sarah Palin said Obama was part of the Chicago political machine....he was. Check
Sarah Palin said Obama has written 2 memoirs while an elected politician for the state of Illinois...he has. Check.
Sarah Palin said Obama hasn't written a major piece of legislation while holding political office...he hasn't. Check.
Appears to me Sarah Palin told the truth regarding Obama's highly touted "experience"....not one lie there. Check.
Yep.....the Democrats just got nailed to the wall last night.
By a woman.

So, let me get this straight, 20 year old experience as a "community organizer" trumps being a current governor...........GOTCHA........
I gotta get these idiots in a poker game.

We must THANK,YES THANK Obamas people for truth in advertizing. With this line
Community organizing is how ordinary people respond to out-of-touch politicians and their failed policies.
Isn't this an admission that the liberal democrat machine that has run Chicago FOREVER
HAS FAILED AND OUT OF TOUCH

There is not a single cell in their bodies that has any home in the real world.

If you do, just make sure when they raise that the cheeto bag use is still sealed. :-)

Yep. Ordinary people. Those from small towns who built this country, like Gov. Palin said. Like her.
-
The The Obama sure does a lot of things under the cover of darkness.
At least until The Obama is elected, truth is still a complete defense.
-
Obama is going to get a bump out of the RNC convention?? :mental:
Yes, he will. But don't expect the right-wing fascist media to report the truth about how Diebold stole the polls showing the huge increase in voters flocking to the lord and savior Obamassiah to save them from this evil capitalist country.
:whatever:
.

But worst of all -- and this deserves to be noted -- they insulted the very idea that ordinary people have a role to play in our political process.
Yeah, except for the fact that John McCain and Sarah Palin ARE ordinary people: a combat-wounded, POW vet and a hockey mom. That's what they were, what they are and what they will remain being. They aren't empty suit elitist thugs groomed by operatives like the Obamessiah is.

Isn't America a great nation? A place where any child, regardless of race, sex or religion, can achieve a dream to grow up and become a.......community organizer???
A professional community organizer (PCO) makes far more money than a doctor or lawyer. An effective PCO works with an elected official to obtain an appropriation of public funds. He then splits those funds with the elected official. It is the mother's milk of Chicago politics.

You mean Obama got paid for being a community organizer?
But....but....I thought he did it for free out of the good and kindness of his heart. :thatsright:
I am soooo disillusioned about Obama now.... :bawl:....I....I thought he volunteered his time and kindness.... :thatsright:.....I mean....that's how he makes it sound when he talks about that time.......
