We know that seeing a Trump yard sign or bumper sticker or NRA window decal is enough to make a DUmmy wet themselves, but this DUmmy finds a new super scary window decal:
PurgedVoter
I saw and Eagle Scout sticker and it made me nervous.
The whole Proud Boy Scout Eagle Badge thing is horrid and the image sort of looks like it would. That eagle looks mean and the image with the dark theme looks just like what a Proud Boy would be proud to wear.

How does one make the leap from Eagles Scouts to Proud Boys? Even the other DUmmies are perplexed:

1. I'm pretty confused as to why you are conflating Eagle Scouts and terrorists?
How incredibly bizarre.
He tries to explain himself, but fails miserably:

7. I was a den leader for cub scouts. I taught knot making for boy scouts to get badges
I have been very involved in scouting, enough to have seen issues and to have worked hard to fight against them. Elitism has always been an issue but when scouting is good it is a very positive thing.
I taught them practical uses for rope in modern day including how to tie down loads properly and pull down a dead tree with leverage sheep shanks.
While I do have a good friend who was abused by a scout leader and I have seen horrible management and manipulation of contests and awards, my general attitude for scouting is quite positive. But the badge I remember looked a bit different.

The one I saw online and posted in the original post looked like it was made for the SS.
The Eagle Scout
So now he claims to have been very involved with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts and possibly is claiming to be an Eagle Scout with his last line. He also ups the ante by jumping to Eagle Scout sticker = Nazi SS. I doubt he was involved with the Scouts at all because window decals similar to the one that scared him so much have been around in various forms since I was a Scout many, many years ago. But if he is claiming to be an Eagle Scout he's definitely lying, because he has obviously never seen the Eagle Medal which is awarded when one obtains the rank of Eagle Scout. Note how mean the eagle looks:

And strangely enough his original post was removed. Of all the offensive posts on DU, a jury found the OP offensive enough to remove, which is just strange.
Some additional weirdness on that thread:

15. My ex was an eagle scout.
He never used all those skills he learned in boy scouts to become an eagle scout.
He hated camping,hated the outdoors in his adult life. Preferred to be parked in front of a computer.
I was in the Bluebirds when I was kid for like 5 weeks. Had a little blue uniform I hated. Bluebirds back in the 70's was like a pre-girl scouts club . I really wanted to be in boy scouts because I wanted to learn the cool stuff. Bluebirds didn't teach boy scout stuff,just homemaker or gender biased crap .So I asked my Bulebirds guide to put me in boy scouts instead. They kicked me out of the Bluebirds.
Also my mom had me go to charm school.
I hated it. But I passed it top of my class just to spite my mom and to prove to the teacher I could do it. She told my mom I was destined to fail. That pissed me off. the teacher was an ass. My mom never tried to get me involved in girly shit ever again, thankfully.
When I was in 6th grade I got my first boy clothes.
SubwayKitty has an ex-boyfriend who was an Eagle Scout? If she claiming that she actually dated someone somewhat normal at some point in her life? That's gotta be a lie. But then to claim she was top of her class in charm school? :rotf: Put on your hip-waders, because the BS is getting pretty deep.

Not that a single true word has ever fallen from U.G.P.'s lips - but sounds like the teacher was actually right.

:rotf: :lmao: "the eagle looks mean." They are a predatory bird, out to kill each and every day.
100% of Subway Cat's tale is absolutely false. There was no ex, he wasn't an Eagle Scout, she never went to charm school. What a story, UGP, take a bow!

Her bit about the Bluebirds is probably also fictional:

Bluebirds are not part of Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts. They are the youngest group in Campfire. Brownies are part of Girl Scouts.

Allow me to translate, and therefore distill, the entire thread: "I am intimidated by organizations that encourage community, achievement, and accomplishment, because I do not have the emotional, physical, and intellectual skills to take part."

Here's the bumpersticker BSA has been selling for at least 2 or 3 decades:

Back in my day you had to stay at a rank for a certain amount of time, don't remember but I think it was different for each one. IIRC it was longer for each step up. We had no "Scout" rank, Tenderfoot was the bottom. Anyway I joined late to buff up my college backgrounds and I only got to Life because of the time requirements. Had more than enough merit badges. It was a hell of a good time but what we did back then was so un-PC but just boys being boys.
Almost forgot being lost in great history of my youth. UGP suck a greasy turd out of my asshole you lying bitch.

IIRC from when my son was a Scout, advancing the steps from Scout to First Class was skills and participating in certain ways in outings. After First Class each step was a combination of:
* A certain number of Eagle-required merit badges;
* A certain number of elective merit badges;
* A certain time period in a leadership position;
* For Eagle, planning and carrying out a council-approved Eagle Project.
My son's troop required that the leadership position for earning Eagle rank be one that leads other boys (e.g., not Quartermaster or Librarian).

Aww, the OP was deleted.
He had the narrative all planned out 'n everything... It's pretty embarrassing to pretend you're scared of something that registers a virtual zero relevancy-component among your own ideological rank-and-file.

Out of curiosity, I looked up the history of the Eagle Medal and see that it was first issued in 1912 and hasn't been substantially changed since.
Here's the 1912 version:

And here's the current version:

So I guess the mean looking eagle has been terrorizing moonbats for over a hundred years.
