Contrary to DUmmy thinking, collecting SSDI is really not a marketable skill.

I feel that is a description of all politicians regardless of party affiliation.

Despite being the minority party in both Houses of Congress, I'm pretty sure there are more Rs who have run businesses and/or had professional-level job positions (being a server/bartender like AOC would not, IMO, quite qualify, though some more skilled and experienced bartenders could) than Ds.

Good point, but it especially rings true for Democrats.  Every single member of 0bummer's cabinet had never had work experience outside of academia or politics, and is likely true of Sharter Joe's.

NO NO NO... in DUmmieLand, Politicians (of the right political affiliation that is) are honored public servants. If not for the call of the "Greater Good," they all would be 'Titans of Industry'

I also believe that many politicians are just in it for themselves, for the power, influence and to grift the public...
