How did Eric Boehlert die? [View all]
Anyone have a link to the facts?
I understand the journalist was hit by a New Jersey commuter train while bicycling, Monday, April 4 around 10 p.m., but have not been able to find a police report, even a single eyewitness statement, nor any stills or video that shed light on how the tragedy actually happened.
As a citizen and compatriot, I need to know what happened. Boehlert was more than one of the good guys covering and analyzing the mass media. He told the truth, and particularly spelled out how Trump and the GOP get a pass, while Biden and the Democrats get the screw.
I think the cause of death as determined by the coroner is "MFer Got Hit by A Got Damn Train", but sure, let's have a look... (https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1002&pid=16580632)

1. Are you suggesting
something more nefarious than what was reported?
Yes, s/h/it is suggesting that.

86. Hit by a train on a bike is unusual to say the least.
People who bike regularly develop heightened skills for being aware of what's around them on all sides as it's critical for survival in traffic, being the most vulnerable ones in said traffic.
A TRAIN? A TRAIN? NOT BEING AWARE OF A BIG 'EFFIN', LOUD ASS TRAIN?
Come on.
Something seems fishy.
And then a TRAIN jumped out from the bushes....

7. Democracy depends on the truth.
That’s why the First Amendment.
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
The press is the ONLY business mentioned in the Constitution. When an important journalist dies in what’s called “an accident,” I need to know that it was an accident.
Narrator: Nothing will ever convince a liberal of an actual truth.

3. I don't understand your thread,
are you suggesting that there was some criminality involved?
If so, then what would lead you to believe that?
The DUmbass believes that the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy now has the ability to conjure a train, complete with tracks, at any point, in any place, to clobber a liberal on a bike.
Sure enough:

99. Well, if they can make a train appear out of nowhere like that
then they can damn sure build a bullet train from Oberlin College to Sarah Lawrence College!
OK, I made that last one up.

It's unfortunate, but pedestrians and motorists get hit by trains quite frequently. This may in fact be because trains are so large; to the unsuspecting person, it may not look like the train is going that fast, and they think they can beat it. Watch some railroad live cams like the one in Kearney, NE. They may not look it, but large freight trains can indeed haul ass.

Are you saying that no experienced biker has ever been hit by a car or train because of their "Hightened Skills"? I don't think you are referring to bicyclists, I think you mean Spiderman.

Ok primitives, I can’t tell you everything, but I will fill you in on this small detail.
Between Eric Boehlert and Dwayne Haskins, it was a coin toss that determined who would ride a bike and get hit by a train and who would try and run across the freeway and get hit by a dump truck.

I'd like to see some evidence of these "heightened [observational] skills" of which you speak, DUmbass.
Are we talking about the same stupid MF'ers who will obliviously ride their toys right down the middle of an effin' 2-lane highway with a line of traffic stretching for 2 miles behind their candy asses, even when there is a perfectly servicable shoulder to pull aside on and let everybody pass? Those bikers???
Are we talking about the same stupid MF'ers who will insist they are a "VEHICLE" and that the other vehicles have to share the road with them, until they get up to an effin' stoplight, and then rather than stop like any other vehicle would, will ride PEDESTRIAN sidewalks and crosswalks to continue along their merry way - if they didn't just ignore the stoplight and go riding blithely thru cross traffic like the rules of the road don't apply to them? Those bikers???
I'll wait for your "evidence", DUmbass. But I ain't holding my breath...

Don't care how it died. Just glad it is no longer breathing our air.

Video of President Trump, Don Jr., and Eric at the scene.

No audio but observant lip readers have confirmed that the three were chanting that this is MAGA country!

Having been hit or almost hit by RUDE and clueless cyclists while walking the nice and wide Los Gatos Creek Trail scores of times, and almost never hearing one warn runners/walkers they're about to pass, "On your left," which is basic trail etiquette, horse bleep. With exceptions, most cyclists I've encountered have been some combination of clue-free, insufficiently aware, and rude.

The accident happened at 9:50 PM, the train had crew plus 7 passengers. So it was dark, not a lot of incidental bystanders, and few witnesses aboard the train (probably just 1 or 2 actual witnesses). It was a week or so ago, so the "lack" of a police report means nothing more than the NJ Transit Police doesn't work that fast.

He was aligned with the same group that thought protesting g in the middle of moving traffic wouldn't result in the inevitable. Heightened awareness? Not at all if it parallels political leanings.

OP veers deep into tin-foil hat territory, but it all makes sense once you remember this "kid berywn" dummy is just the post-JPR reincarnation of the CT whack job "Octafish". :mental:

Really? Kid Berwyn = Octafish? That explains a lot.

DUmmies hate anything short of full blown government/DNC (same thing in their eyes) run propaganda media on the Pravda model. Or maybe, more along the lines of Oceania's Ministry of Truth from 1984.
