2. No she doesn't.
He is an elected official just as she is. As far as the DOJ goes they do not have jurisdiction over state law cases. They only do federal law cases. The NY office was investigating potential state law crimes.

Actually, there are four possibilities:
A) He received death threats from right wing MAGA nut jobs.
B) He was blackmailed by Donald Trump, Putin or the Kremlin, or close associates thereof.
C) He received a hefty bribe from sources similar or allied to the above.
D) A combination of two or more of the above.

E) No case. Lack of evidence.

The confusion you're now experiencing on this topic, DUmmies, is what happens when you spend literally years listening to people who lie to you for a living, such as rick maddow, lawrence the 'stop the hammering' guy, adam bug eyed schiff, and news outlets like cnn and pmsnbc.
And now, because the truth that you were lied to and what it means about Trump is literally unthinkable to you, you're sitting here upset that reality isn't bending over backwards, forming and shaping itself to the misperceptions you were so willingly led to.
I mean...that's plenty of evidence to show just how ****ed up you assholes are, but it gets worse.

DU-grade Progs are their own subculture when it comes to information. Faux-Gotchas like Memogate, Trump-Russia Collusion, and Ukraine Quid Pro Quo get crushed by facts, but DUmmies still believe them. I'm sure I'm far from unique among conservatives, but I am careful with the conservative leaning sources I regard as generally reliable, and there are some I take with a block of salt (if, for example, Gateway Pundit "breaks" a blockbuster story, I look for confirmation elsewhere (e.g., I have come to regard Gateway Pundit as clickbait-grade and careless with sources and facts).
