US Population
I was in a grocery store today with one of those "Remember When" card racks. I always look at them, for interesting historic info.

The thing that struck me today was the card from 1962. US population today is over 330 million. 60 years ago it was less than half that. Probably similar for the rest of the world.

There are just too damn many people. The world is overpopulated. I haven't got an answer for the problem, but this planet can only sustain a limited number of people and I would guess that number is smaller than the current population.

Never Fails, Not Ever (https://www.democraticunderground.com/100216518135)

Always cited without proof that there are too many people. Recall that to the socially avoidant, COVID-obsessed DUmmies, anyone nearby is "too many people."

I seem to recall, but am too lazy to find, a study that was much-lauded on DU that projected that the world's population of honkies is decreasing, while the vaunted and revered POC population is increasing. If true, which I believe is the case, then claims of overpopulation is RACIST, right?

The world is not overpopulated: The entire population could fit in a small portion of the Grand Canyon, or, equivalently, in an older pair of Stacey Abrams' drawers (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2617559/Fascinating-image-depicts-look-like-7-2-billion-population-dumped-Grand-Canyon.html). Slightly more realistically, if every person in the world lived in the US, each person would have approximately a quarter acre to himself (although, again, those near Stacey Abrams' quarter acre would need to make some sort of deal). If you include Canada and Mexico, that's well over half an acre for all, or, said differently, room for Stacey Abrams to sit comfortably.

Regarding resources, there is enough arable land and fresh water to sustain the world for eons, and enough animals to provide food for eternity. If China, Japan, Indonesia, and India could stop polluting the oceans with the worthless crap they produce, fishing would be even more sustainable.

If, after all this, the DUmmies still think there are too many people, there are solutions in many calibers for them to choose from. I suggest .380, but 12-gauge is known to be effective as well.

Not sure how to reduce the volume of Stacey Abrams, however.

:thatsright: Didn't some Enviro predict mass famines would kill 10s or 100s of millions in the 1970s, due to The Population Bomb? Didn't happen.

I did the math - every human in the world would fit into Texas with 1,000 square feet per person.

I guarantee that nobody is clawing at your ankles, begging with tears in their eyes for you to refrain from exhibiting the courage of your convictions and offing yourself in the face of this existential crisis, DUmbass.

Nope; leftist scum always want OTHER PEOPLE to sacrifice/be sacrificed... :foff: :fuelfire:

Well DUmp monkeys, just off yourselves to begin with.  It's a start, after all.  Lord knows that DUmmies aren't procreating, even for pleasure.

Wouldn't make the slightest dent in the world's population.

However, since DUmmies believe in virtue signaling that has no real impact it would still be a good idea for them.

No self-immolation though due to the climate impact of it. (That and gas is really expensive now.)

Of course I'm well aware of that fact, considering the population of DUmmyville is maybe a couple thousand people, with about perhaps 500 regular participants there.

If you want to lead by example DUmmies, get the ball rolling.

One thing I've noticed:

Every time I hear someone say "there are too many people", it always means "I'm fine, but there are too many OTHER people."

Honest believers in "overpopulation" would self-delete.

DUmmy complains about the US population after voting for an open borders regime.

What a moron.

Let us know that number and, more importantly, are you volunteering to be the first to off yourself.

It's a scary thought, but a half-decent re-write of Jonathan Swift's A Modest Proposal would probably get a warm reception at the DUmp.

Start it out like a  :bouncy: tale?
