In what perpendicular alternate universe?! According to the chart here, https://www.macrotrends.net/1369/crude-oil-price-history-chart , when narrowed to the past 5 years to improve the resolution, West Texas Intermediate crude has increased steadily, every month, since November 2021.

It takes a special kind of stupid, DUmmie-Stupid, to think that attacking companies that extract and refine oil and constricting their supply will bring down gas prices.

Well, part of it is stupidity - the other part of it is a sincere belief that if enough of them post their DUmmie beliefs on the Internet, the rest of the world will accept them as facts.

It's not easy to keep fully-assembled in my brain... and I've been around a while... but if I buy a contract for oil to be delivered at a later date, I can sell the contract before that date and use the cash to buy oil at a later delivery date.

That's the oil-market. 

Prices at the pump follow-along like a dog on a 30-foot string.

Maybe because of Bidennomics influencing inflation, production costs to turn oil into gas has increased?
